Education has always been important to Dr. Abar. He began his studies in California at the University of the Pacific where he remained to complete his orthodontic training. Dr. Abar is proud of his professional affiliations and enjoys the opportunity to further refine his skills and knowledge through links with other orthodontic professionals in the region and across the nation. He holds membership in the American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Abar is also an active member of the Partnership Study Club, a group that works on complex interdisciplinary cases involving restorative orthodontics.
Dr. Chiu received her Bachelor degree in Biological Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and graduated cum laude. She then graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She completed her orthodontic specialty training, receiving her orthodontics certificate and Master of Science degree from the University of California, San Francisco.She is a member of a number of dental organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association.

I love the quality of work as well as the quality of their employees. The experience was great. Worth the drive for me for sure. I'm very pleased with the final outcome of my daughter's smiles. I definitely recommend to those searching for the right Orthodontist.

My experience with my daughter's orthodontist was not good. Today, we came in for consultation because my daughter missed her appointment and haven't gone to them since her emergency appointment in October I believe. First of, my family went through alot since last year til last month(February), medical reason and on top of it diagnosed with Covid. I don't need to explain why we missed her damn appointment and for you to say, us patients feel that you guys are obligated to call us to schedule/remind us about our appointment. Excuse me, I don't think that way and plus we have a lot of things on our plate to worry about but most importantly our families health then the teeth(braces) comes later.

This place was amazing! Everyone here is super friendly. Every appointment I went to was nice and quick. When I had braces I once accidentally broke a bracket playing soccer and we called that day and got an appointment right away. Danville Orthodontics really cares about its patients. I would definitely recommend going to Danville Orthodontics.

Excellent orthodontic services. Modernized office with high tech office services. Capable office staff and dental assistants, who are highly skilled and work amidst a cheerful environment, always patient and careful in treating patients, especially the young ones. Dr. Abar is very professional, skillful, and takes the time to cheerfully explain what will be done, so that patients will cooperate and feel comfortable during the treatment. The dental staff works quickly and expertly, all the time maintaining rapport with patients. Patients invariably leave with a good appreciation of what has been done for their issues. My son was initially treated by Dr. Brown, and soon transitioned over to Dr. Abar. His teeth needed straightening and his jaw had a underbite, plus ingrown teeth that had no place to descend. All these were corrected over 7.5 years, undergoing Phase I and II. My son was also going through the years of not being always diligent in following instructions, adding to the length of time to finally reach the end point. Today his braces were finally removed, leaving a lovely straight set of teeth and a proper overbite, with all permanent teeth descended into the right places. Now his smile is fabulous and has a million-dollar look. As parents, we are totally pleased with the end result as he went from baby teeth to permanent teeth, thanks to the wonderful work of Dr. Abar and his team. So see him with confidence that he will do an excellent job.

I've had my braces on now for a little over 2 years, and the time has flown by. I had a gap in between my top teeth, and it's no longer there. My bottom teeth were also crooked, and they are now straight. My braces aren't off yet, but I am looking forward to my new smile being revealed in a couple weeks. Dr. Abar and his staff have been the best. They've always worked with my schedule, and every visit was quick and easy. They have 3 different locations, so depending on where you live, there's an office for you. Because of their friendliness, convenience, and work; I'd definitely recommend them to others.
