I went to Danville Family Dentistry to have a deep cleaning done on my teeth. After, my back teeth on one side started to hurt really bad. I assumed from the cleaning. When looking at my gun it looks like it was cut. After 9 days of being in pain I went back to the office to see a dr. I'm afraid I now have an infection. They let me wait over one hour, and was late to work, only to tell me to come back the next morning. They made a mistake that left me in pain and probably an infection, and they acted like it didn't matter. I will be finding another dentist and not returning.is very bad service

Update to previous review. If I could give zero stars I would. I stopped by to have my file sent to a new dentist only to receive a bill stating that they charged my insurance over $100 to fix their mistake! When I was finally seen for the infection caused by a cut they made while cleaning my teeth, they did more x rays and prescribed antibiotics. My insurance was charged for the x rays and "emergency treatment". If it was such an emergency treatment why did they not see me immediately when I went? Why did I have to make an appointment for the next day? When they finally saw me I was done in 15/20 minutes. So why couldn't they take those 15/20 minutes the day before and save me the worry and hours of pain AND the risk of the infection spreading. They acted like it was my fault. They never apologized for cutting me or for making me wait to be seen. I understand that mistakes are sometimes made. My issue is that they did such a poor job fixing their mistake and most importantly that they charged my insurance for their mistake.
