Dr. Dantini has been in practice for over 30 years. He firmly believes in patient education, explaining different treatment options, and helping you, the patient, decide the best course of treatment.Dr. Dantini began his dental training at the University of Detroit Dental School and completed his last two years at Loyola University of Chicago. His general practice residency was at Southbury Training School (an extended care facility for special needs patients) in Southbury, Connecticut, and Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut.Dr. Dantinis experience with different institutions exposed him to the various methods to solve the same problem. To this day, he approaches each person and situation as unique, requiring its own individual solution.
Dr. Dantini is always looking to enhance quality of treatment and patient comfort. He is one of the areas earliest adopters of Dental Lasers, acquiring his first Nd:Yag laser in 1991 and was trained by the father of dental laser dentistry, Dr. Terry D Myers. He also was a very early user of Digital radiography and has been making same day crowns since 2001 (known as Cerec crowns). Dr. Dantini was fabricating NTI-ss ( Nociceptive Trigeminal Inhibition Tension Suppression System) for clenching and grinding, well before other dentists. He has been on the cutting edge in finding new technologies to best help solve dental problems.
The Jesuit philosophy from his undergraduate training at Loyola University of Chicago; do good, give back, leave this world a better place, has guided Dr. Dantini throughout his career. He served as the President of the Stamford Dental Society, a delegate representing Stamford for the Connecticut State Dental Association. He is the former Dental director for the Dental Clinic that was in the Shippan area, serving the underserved which is now merged into the Community Health Center of Stamford. He currently volunteers his time to the Norwalk Hospital Dental Clinic.
Dr. Dantini is a lifelong resident of New Canaan and has raised his family there. During this time he was involved with Boy Scouts. In his spare time, Dr. Dantini enjoys traveling, photography, and a variety of different outdoor activities.

I've been going to Dr. Dantini since I was in elementary school (I'm now in my late 20s). He knows what he's doing. He's so caring about his work and he's super professional. I highly recommend.

Hands down the best dentist I've ever been too. Smaller office where the staff there actually knows who you are from front desk to dental assistant to the dentist himself. I am so happy I was recommended to come here now over 10 years ago! My mom now goes here too and she also loves it!! Thanks for your great service always!

Dr Dantini is wonderful. He filled and fixed my cracked tooth. He explains everything. I have severe anxiety about dental procedures. He is extremely compassionate and patient. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Dantini is GREAT he is so caring and gentle. He is very considerate about your feelings. I HATE going to the dentist and he makes me feel very relaxed and he is very patient with my fears. Dr Dantini does not recommend any procedure unless he really thinks you need it. Everyone at his office, the doctor, hygienist and receptionist are very professional and friendly. My sister recommended Dr Dantini to me, and she started seeing him 20 years ago after a couple of very picky friends recommended him to her.
