Dr. Dante E. Gulino Jr. is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with emphasis on wisdom teeth, single tooth extraction, alveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, office anesthesia, laser surgery, facial cosmetics, sleep apnea, and pathology. Dr. Dante E. Gulino Jr. grew up in Westerly, Rhode Island. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Rhode Island. He then entered Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Dr.Gulino was the valedictorian in his class and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Dr. Dante E. Gulino completed a general practice residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. He then returned to Georgetown University for his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and at the same time he received his medical degree from Georgetown University. At completion from Georgetown University he attended St. Francis Hospital in Hartford Connecticut, completing a 1 year fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, with an emphasis on Orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery and Major Trauma surgery.
For the past 27 years, he has been engaged in a private oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Westerly, RI and Groton, CT. Dr. Gulino also served in the US Naval Reserve and has surgery privileges at the Yale New Haven Hospital Westerly Campus.

I hate going to the dentist and had to have a wisdom tooth removed. I told Dr Gulino I was really nervous and didn't want to be there. He gave me a blanket which made me feel a little bit more comfortable. He did my procedure quickly and it was over before I knew it. The staff was great too. I would highly recommend Dr Gulino.

Dr. Gulino and the staff are wonderful! I was referred from a different dentist they got me in that day. I had a fractured tooth and an abscess that was sitting right on my sinuses. They removed the tooth that day and got rid of the abscess. Novocain usually doesn't work on me let me tell you, I didn't feel a thing!!! I highly recommend Dr. Gulino

Great experience with Dr. Gulino and his staff. Had my wisdom teeth removed quickly and professionally. During my recovery I experienced no complications and had very little pain.

Another dentist referred my daughter to DR Gulino when he had done all he could do to remove a tooth and said he was not comfortable giving her any more medication. I took her to DR Gulino while she was still under local sedation. DR saw her immediately and had tooth out in a few minutes, I see comments on cost, My daughter has no insurance, but cost was not a concern, pain and anxiety was. Complete success at what I considered to be reasonable cost. Very pleased with DR Gulino and his staff.

Went here for a consultation, and liked the doctor, his assistant and receptionist very much. All were genuinely nice, attentive and helpful. The doctor took his time and explained things very well. The waiting area is extremely pleasant and comforting. All around a great experience.

The staff was very nice but the prices were just to high. I did a little shopping and got the same procedure performed for literally 1/3 of the price they were going to charge me, both to my insurance company and out of pocket.

One of the more expensive dentist I've been to, but the staff was super friendly and they were able to get me an appointment right away when one of my wisdom broke. Though I thought the price was a bit high, would definitely go back and recommend to anyone in need of dental work.
