Dr. Dante E. Gulino Jr. is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with emphasis on wisdom teeth, single tooth extraction, alveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, office anesthesia, laser surgery, facial cosmetics, sleep apnea, and pathology. Dr. Dante E. Gulino Jr. grew up in Westerly, Rhode Island. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Rhode Island. He then entered Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Dr.Gulino was the valedictorian in his class and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Dr. Dante E. Gulino completed a general practice residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. He then returned to Georgetown University for his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and at the same time he received his medical degree from Georgetown University. At completion from Georgetown University he attended St. Francis Hospital in Hartford Connecticut, completing a 1 year fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, with an emphasis on Orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery and Major Trauma surgery.
For the past 27 years, he has been engaged in a private oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Westerly, RI and Groton, CT. Dr. Gulino also served in the US Naval Reserve and has surgery privileges at the Yale New Haven Hospital Westerly Campus.
