Dr. Daniella Asaro is a general dentist in Whitestone who strives to provide quality dental care while making her patients always feel comfortable during dental treatment. In addition, she is a gentle dentist who can help even the most apprehensive patients accept and proceed with the dental care that they need. Dr. Asaro takes time to care for each patient individually and address all their needs. She also loves treating children, being a mother herself. Dr. Asaro has the patience and kindness children often need, especially at their first visit to the dentist.
Dr. Asaro grew up in Astoria, N.Y. and moved to the Whitestone area after getting married. She attended New York University and received a B.A. in Psychology. In 2005, Dr. Asaro graduated from NYU College of Dentistry. Following a one year residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Dr. Asaro worked on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where she was able to use her undergraduate training in Psychology to manage patients with the all too common fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Asaro looks forward to delivering excellent patient care in her newly built office.
Dr. Asaro enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. In addition, she makes time to update her knowledge of dentistry with CE courses. Dr. Asaro is certified in CPR & AED and maintains her certification requirements. She is an Invisalign Provider and takes pride in cosmetic procedures that can transform your smile.

Great service, excellent work and they treat you like family. I have insurance but its a plan they do not work with so I pay out of pocket, I could go somewhere else but thats how good their service is.

Dr. Asaro is an excellent dentist. I had my first bridge done and she did a great job. Her assistant was also excellent. Very clean office. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Asaro is an amazing dentist. She is very detailed-oriented which helps the patient feel safe in knowing that she is paying close attention to their every need. Her bedside manner is impeccable; I will never go to another dentist. In addition, even my 3 kids are not scared of going to the dentist thanks to her and getting a cleaning is a walk in the park. She's gentle, very kind and does a great job especially with cleanings and that to me is very important!

Very pleasant and clean atmosphere. I was new but took me in for an unexpected dental care. Doctor Asaro and her assistant were very nice. I am happy to find this place. The 2nd visit was as well very welcoming and Dr. Asaro was very attentive and responded all my questions I had. Dental cleaning job was very thorough. Another amazing visit. Dr. Asaro is very kind and caring. She went extra miles to ease my concerns.

Dr. Asaro is very nice and very thorough in her work and explaining the steps of each procedure. However, her front desk employee lacks empathy and needs to improve her customer service skills. After being assured that my insurance was completely covering my procedure yesterday, this is the 3rd time I get hit with a "small" charge on the same day of my visit. This time it was $150.00. When trying to explain to her that I don't understand why I wasn't informed of this prior to taking off from work and coming to the appointment? She stated that the insurance just informed them that same day. (who knows) I then proceeded to tell her that I did not have the money at the moment because I was not prepared for this, and she continued to tell me I needed to pay prior to the procedure or I would have to reschedule. I told her "I cannot keep taking wasted days off, this was not my fault that I didn't know I had a charge." I then asked if I could have the procedure done and pay them this upcoming Friday when I get paid? She told me that this was not protocol and continued to try and reschedule me for the upcoming Tuesday. Completely disregarding the fact that I wasted a day off. I then told her that I felt she was not understanding that I took a wasted day off and it was not my fault. She responded by saying "most of our patients take off, I can't control that you took off". Are you kidding me?????? How rude is that to say, when I took the day off for this appointment and you have the nerve to hit me with a charge after you guaranteed me that I was covered??? And....the nerve of calling it a "small" charge. She threw in some fake, "I'm sorry's and I understand's" in there, but I ended up taking the money out of my savings account and informing her that this would be my last visit to this office. No matter if it is walking distance from my house. Like I said, the dentist is great at her job but be sure to bring a wad of cash with you for the surprise charges. It's not worth trying to have a reasonable discussion with the front desk employee. Especially with her great lack of empathy and comprehension.
