Dr. Ludwig received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from UCSB, and he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA. He has worked in a private dental practice since 2001. He keeps very current with new technology and procedures. He also keeps up to date with numerous continuing education courses, ensuring his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Dr. Ludwig maintains one of the oldest dental practices in Cupertino, CA. His father started the dental practice in 1969 in an office just a short distance from the current one. Over the years it has remained a true family practice, served faithfully by a father and son. It has always been a patient centered practice with consistent and happy staff members.
Dr. Ludwig spends most of his free time outside the office with his family. He has been happily married to his wife Sara for over 23 years. They have four wonderful children - Natalie, Benjamin, Anna, and Katherine.
Susan started working for Dr. Ludwig in 1991. She has enjoyed every minute that she has been with the practice. The practice has wonderful patients and a great staff and Susan loves working with them. Susan and her husband have two daughters. In her spare time, Susan enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends,
Hello, my name is Brenda Escobar. I was born and raised in El Salvador and came to the United States when I was 19 years old. I went to school at Caada College for my ESL classes meanwhile, working as a nanny with a wonderful family. In 2017 I transferred to San Jose City college to be able to enter the Dental assistant program and graduated in 2018. My first job as dental assistant took me to Milpitas and then moved to this office in November of 2020. When I am not at work I love to play soccer, spend time with my family and play with my dog, Quetzal. I am really grateful to be in this wonderful family.
Melissa began her dental career in 2003. She has worked in Periodontics as a Registered Dental Assistant most times before she became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2014. Melissa considers herself fortunate to have focused her career in both periodontics and general dentistry.Her job gives her the opportunity to work with people to better understand their periodontal health, support and motivate them to have better dental and health care. She makes sure the patients are comfortable, and very attentive to patient's needs. When not working, she likes hiking, cooking and playing with her dog, Coco.
Jennifer was born and raised in San Jose. She graduated from Foothill Colleges Dental Assisting (1996) and Dental Hygiene programs (1998). She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University (1999) and a Master of Science in Education from CSU East Bay (2017). She has a passion for caring for patients and educating about the oral systemic link. Jennifer enjoys education so much she is also an adjunct faculty at Foothill College. She has been happily married to her husband for 10 years, and they share two little energetic boys.
Julie has been living in the Bay Area since 1999 when she moved to be closer to family. She graduated from BYU-Idaho in 1992 with an Associates Degree. For the last 12 years Julie has been an educator in the Cosmetology and Esthetics industry. During the Covid shut-down she decided to go back to school and change careers, receiving her certificate in Medical Assisting, EKG & Phlebotomy in May 2021. Julie loves education and assisting patients with their dental questions. Some of her hobbies include; home remodeling, reading and cooking.

Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card. We also offer our patients CareCredit. CareCredit offers No Interest and Low Interest Payment Plans.

Dr. Ludwig solved my TMJ problem so fully that I mostly take biting and chewing hard foods for granted now, except when I take time to remember what a blessing that is. The staff is always helpful and kind. My recent hygienist experience, with Jennifer, was outstanding, including very helpful instruction.

Lets just say, that the service went from 5 stars to 1 star. No appointments available for months, the phone customer service person is very rude to talk with, its their way or highway. Shifting my families years of service with them to a new dentist which values every patient and patients time too. Patient first value is completely missing.

Dr. Ludwig and his team are kind and skilled. He has a wonderful bedside manner, his dental team is thoughtful and kind, as well as the office staff. My entire family has been patients for years, including my 98 year old mother who is in a wheelchair. They accommodate her special needs with kindness and care. I had 2 crowns on my front 2 teeth. They are absolutely gorgeous but still natural looking. Their lab matched the color perfectly. Can't recommend them enough.

I have been going to the Ludwig's for over 30 years. I love the gentleness and caring spirit that is alive in the whole office. My dental work is top notch and if I have a problem they see me right away. It is a very positive environment and that is pretty great! I can't imagine going anywhere else for my dental work.

Dr. Daniel Ludwig and his staff are very friendly, kind, and considerate. Although I usually hate going to the dentist, I was made to feel comfortable. He filled four of my teeth and though I am not a professional in this area, I can recognize excellent workmanship. I highly recommend Dr. Ludwig without hesitation.
