During this residency, Dan became proficient in complex oral surgery, periodontal, implant and restorative procedures. It was also the time when he met Alexis, a Harvard University trained dentist who was completing her Endodontic (root canal) Specialist training at UCLA. Together Dan & Alexis offer comprehensive dental care to their patients. In Dans words, we are a multi-specialty mom and pop shop, capable of taking care of the entire family from the kids to the grandparents! The doctors love spending time with family and friends, spoiling their dog Valentine, traveling, cooking, and eating! Dan especially enjoys playing ice hockey, surfing, scuba diving, snowboarding, hiking and conquering local mountains.
Dan and Alexis are both active members of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. Through their participation in the local dental society they were privileged enough to spend time working with Give Kids a Smile, a community outreach program designed to raise awareness about dental health in children via their kindergarten classroom. Most recently Dr. Dan has enjoyed offering surgical care to those in need at the Bridge to Home Santa Clarita homeless shelter.
Their practice philosophy is to treat patients with kindness and compassion and always provide a gentle, pain free dental experience so that their patients can feel comfortable knowing they are in the right dental home.
At Dr. Dan and Dr. Alexis Office we accept most traditional Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) dental insurance plans. To verify acceptance of your specific plan, please contact our office at (661) 481-0884. Unfortunately, our office does not participate in Health Management Organizations (HMOs). As a courtesy to you, our patient, we will happily file PPO dental insurance claims for reimbursement on your behalf. We also accept payment via check, cash or credit cards and offer flexible payment plans and no interest financing through Care Credit. Additionally, many of our patients without insurance are taking advantage of our Dental Health Commitment Plan. Please feel free to contact our office for additional details. Dan Iannotti, DDS was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where he attended Stony Brook University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he received numerous departmental honors as well as the Stony Brook University Hospital Community Service Award and the Community Outreach Award. In his final year of dental school, Dan was hand selected to be one of four students chosen to participate in a dental outreach program in Kenya where he provided dentistry to people in remote villages.
After dental school, Dan took the road west to continue his dental education at UCLA where he completed two years of advanced comprehensive dental training serving our nations finest at the Sepulveda and Greater Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Hospitals. While attending class at UCLA, Dan met Alexis and they have been inseparable ever since!

I was referred to Dr. Iannotti when I had severe pain in one tooth. They took me in right away. The staff was so nice and understanding of my suffering. Took X-rays and told my my options. I decided to have the tooth pulled. I thought I would be in pain after the numbness was gone. But to my relief I felt almost no pain! I will definitely return to this dentist!

So... In my 34 years of life this was by far my best dental experience. I had already prepped everyone that I have extreme dental anxiety and was referred to Dr. Dan. Not only was he super patient, he explained everything in detail and took the time to photograph and discuss each tooth with me. We ended up settling on a deep clean where he was so gentle that I didn't need anything more than numbing gel. I can't stress how terrible with dentists I am (fainted during my last filling ) and how there was no anxiety and good vibes all around. Super happy with my smile and will be back. Definitely recommend!

As a working mother, I have to plan my dental appointments, so I scheduled one 2 weeks in advance. When I came to my scheduled appointment at 9am, front office staff told me that I don't have an appointment and was curt about it. They said they need to look at the schedule to see what can be done about it. 25 minutes go by, still no update, no communication from them and me just sitting and waiting. To note, this is the confirmation text I got from the office with cancelation policy "Cx fee of $75 for less than 48 hr notice." After sitting there for a while, I offered to reschedule and they said sure. Not even acknowledgement that they messed up my schedule and morning. It seems they don't understand that other people's time is as valuable as theirs. My advice, is to give refresher course to the front office staff on bussiness hospitality and clear/respectful communication and obviously keep appointments on the schedule.

Dr Dan and his entire staff are amazing! Robyn there receptionist is literally the sweetest person ever! I have never had a bad experience there! Everyone is so amazing at there jobs! I would recommend this place to everyone! Best dentist in Santa Clarita!

BEWARE. After having some initial success with the office of Dr. Dan and Dr. Alexis, I brought my 77 year old elderly mother to them to have some work done. It had been a difficult time for my mother due to the fact that a large portion of her teeth were failing her. Being the good son that I am, I was paying for my mother's bill. So Dr. Dan and I engaged in a number of talks (verbally and written) prior to my our visit and him and I came up with an agreement for me to pay a $4,000 dollar flat fee in cash for my mother's treatment. But Dr. Dan ultimately would go back on his word and not provide the level of services he promised. Because my mother is elderly, I was with her every step of the way during her treatment. Dr. Dan did pulled her teeth, but the upper bridge he fitted her with caused her pain and wasn't cosmetically appealing and it also broke. Then my mother had a loose cap on an implant that Dr. Dan promised to tighten, but he ultimately changed his mind after I questioned him about breaching our financial agreement and attempting to charge me for my mother's future office visits. That's when I saw a whole other side of Dr. Dan. When I held him to the flat fee we agreed on, that's when Dr. Dan showed his true colors. He became vindictive and called me up and informed me that he was cancelling my mother's future appointments and dropping her as a client. Dr. Dan showed no empathy and never even offered to refund any of the thousands of dollars I paid to him. I expressed to Dr. Dan that he should be ashamed of himself and that I didn't believe that he had a legal basis for breaching my financial agreement with him. But he didn't seem to care and replied, "I've been sued before. So you are free to do so." I am an Air Force veteran and this is my true and sworn testimony.

As always, best hygienists, staff, and Dr Dan is the best dentist in Santa Clarita, hands down. If you ever need a endondontist,, Dr Alexis shares the same office and she is exceptional as well. I wish everyone could experience their top notch work, service, professionalism and could call on Dan and Alexis for any dentistry needs. They are simply great human beings....Our family loves them!
