During this residency, Dan became proficient in complex oral surgery, periodontal, implant and restorative procedures. It was also the time when he met Alexis, a Harvard University trained dentist who was completing her Endodontic (root canal) Specialist training at UCLA. Together Dan & Alexis offer comprehensive dental care to their patients. In Dans words, we are a multi-specialty mom and pop shop, capable of taking care of the entire family from the kids to the grandparents! The doctors love spending time with family and friends, spoiling their dog Valentine, traveling, cooking, and eating! Dan especially enjoys playing ice hockey, surfing, scuba diving, snowboarding, hiking and conquering local mountains.
Dan and Alexis are both active members of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. Through their participation in the local dental society they were privileged enough to spend time working with Give Kids a Smile, a community outreach program designed to raise awareness about dental health in children via their kindergarten classroom. Most recently Dr. Dan has enjoyed offering surgical care to those in need at the Bridge to Home Santa Clarita homeless shelter.
Their practice philosophy is to treat patients with kindness and compassion and always provide a gentle, pain free dental experience so that their patients can feel comfortable knowing they are in the right dental home.
At Dr. Dan and Dr. Alexis Office we accept most traditional Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) dental insurance plans. To verify acceptance of your specific plan, please contact our office at (661) 481-0884. Unfortunately, our office does not participate in Health Management Organizations (HMOs). As a courtesy to you, our patient, we will happily file PPO dental insurance claims for reimbursement on your behalf. We also accept payment via check, cash or credit cards and offer flexible payment plans and no interest financing through Care Credit. Additionally, many of our patients without insurance are taking advantage of our Dental Health Commitment Plan. Please feel free to contact our office for additional details. Dan Iannotti, DDS was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where he attended Stony Brook University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he received numerous departmental honors as well as the Stony Brook University Hospital Community Service Award and the Community Outreach Award. In his final year of dental school, Dan was hand selected to be one of four students chosen to participate in a dental outreach program in Kenya where he provided dentistry to people in remote villages.
After dental school, Dan took the road west to continue his dental education at UCLA where he completed two years of advanced comprehensive dental training serving our nations finest at the Sepulveda and Greater Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Hospitals. While attending class at UCLA, Dan met Alexis and they have been inseparable ever since!
