Born and raised in North Little Rock, I graduated from NLRHS with Honors in 1994 and received a scholarship to Texas A&M University. I headed to Texas to pursue my education, and my high school sweetheart Marty McBryde followed the next year. We were married in 1997. I graduated from Texas A&M in 1998 with a Biomedical Science degree and was selected as one of only two Arkansas residents per year to attend Dental School at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. In 2003,I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honors and accolades in Esthetic/Cosmetic dentistryand moved our growing family back home to Arkansas. We are so grateful for the blessing of raising our three children Grace, Leigha, and Noah here in Arkansas among so many friends and family.
From 2003 to 2006 I served in both family and pediatric dental practices in NLR, LR, and Jacksonville, while making preparations to open Central Arkansas Family Dentistry. My education and my experience in both adult and childrens dental practices uniquely prepared me to meet the dental needs of our community with the highest levels of skill and care. Our practice opened in August of 2006 and since then we have welcomed nearly 5,000 new patients. I enjoy serving infants, children, and adults in the state of the art, comfortable and relaxing environment of Central Arkansas Family Dentistry.
As a patient at CAFD I want you to feel valued and to know that I will always give you the time it takes to understand and meet your dental needs. We are careful toschedule adequate time for each patient, and we do not overbook or double book our providers. At CAFD, you will experience relationship-driven dentistry with a doctor that truly cares about you and your family.
As we get to know each other, you should know that my top priority in life is following and worshipping Jesus Christ. It is my hope that you will catch a glimpse of His love through my words, actions, and the way I practice dentistry. My family and I have been members of The Summit Church in North Little Rock since 2003 and we could not imagine living our lives without the incredible worship, support, and Biblical teaching we experience there. If you do not attend church regularly, we would love for you to come with us to check it out sometime.
When I am not practicing dentistry, spending time with my family, or serving in leadership through my church, you can find me in the flooded timber of east Arkansas calling ducks, in the Ouachita Mountains chasing turkeys, or in a quiet white-oak creek bottom waiting on deer. In September you might even find me back-packing into the wilderness of Colorado bowhunting for elk! You can tell I love being in the woods or in the mountains enjoying God's creation!
