Dr. Walters has been practicing dentistry in Columbus since 1990. He attended Xavier University and The Ohio State University and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Case Western Reserve University in 1990. Dr. Walters began his practice on West Broad Street, where he was mentored for 20 years by one of the countrys top Prosthodontists, Dr. Charles Trebilcock. In 2002, Dr. Walters opened his current practice in Hilliard.
Dr. Walters is a member ofSeattle Study Cluba multidisciplinary study club for advanced and comprehensive dentistry and clinical excellence in Columbus, Ohio. He is also a member of the ITI International Team for Implantology.
When he is not working as a dentist, Dr. Walters enjoys cycling and playing ice hockey. He has four children, including a son and daughter enrolled at The OhioState University, and a daughter studying at Ohio University.
Karen has been with Dr. Walters since 2003. As the office manager, she takes care of most of the administrative duties in the office, including billing and dental insurance. Karen helps patients navigate the sometimes tricky insurance claim process, ensuring they receive optimal coverage and benefits. Karen is also the Implant Coordinator for Dr. Walters. Karen is originally from upstate New York. Karens son graduated from Miami in May and lives in Kentuckywhile workingin Cincinnati. Karensdaughter is a junior at the University of Cincinnati as an athletic training major. Karen enjoys all sports and spending time with her friends and family.
Lorrie has been working in dentistry for over 30 years. She started her career in dentistry at The Ohio State University Faculty Practice as a dental assistant. She eventually moved over to the administrative side of dentistry and has been with Dr. Walters since 2007. When Lorrie is not working she likes to crochet, bowl, and cheer for the Buckeyes. Lorrie has two daughters and a 2-year-old granddaughter.
Deleana has been with Dr. Walters since 1995 as his EFDA. This extra training allows her to place restorations in our office. Deleana has two teenage boys who love fishing, basketball, and baseball. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and spending time with her boys.
Adella worked with Dr. Walters at his first practice on Broad Street. She has now been with Dr. Walters here in Hilliard since 2008. She completed her Expanded Function Dental Assistant training in 1991 at The Ohio State University, and has been placing restorations for the last 23 years! Adella loves spending time with her husband Doug and their children. She also enjoys long walks, watching movies and spending warm summer days by the pool with her kids and the two family dogs.
Angela worked as a dental assistant in both a general and orthodontic practice for two years while earning her dental hygiene degree. She graduated in 2002 from Columbus State with an Associates degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. In February 2011 Angela furthered her career by earning her certification for dental anesthesia. She began working with Dr. Walters in 2008 and enjoys educating patients on all treatment available to enhance their dental health. Angela loves spending time with her husband and little girl. She enjoys traveling, going to country concerts, and watching movies.
Susan is the newest member of Dr. Walterss team. Susan is originally from Springfield and moved here to attend The Ohio State University. She graduated from the College of Dentistry with a degree in dental hygiene in 1995. She currently lives in Hilliard with her husband and two girls.

Would highly recommend Dr. Walters. He has never made me feel that he is recommending any unnecessary work just because he thinks it should be something I should want (which is an issue I've had with past dentists). I trust his work and any recommendations that he may have to maintain my dental health.

The staff was awesome! They color matched my teeth perfectly and Dr Walters and his staff are the most professional and friendly I have ever been around! I highly recommend this dentistry!

Dr. Walters office is mostly very friendly. They are efficient with scheduling and great with appointment reminders. They are mostly thorough with their cleaning. A few things make me weary of returning. First, when scheduling a future appointment, the dental hygienist and I were looking through the calendar for a February appointment during President's Day weekend. She made a very condescending and seemingly annoyed comment about Black History Month. I could have misinterpreted, but I highly doubt that if I was a Black person sitting in the chair that a) she would have made that comment or b) I would have felt comfortable enough to return. Additionally, the dental hygienist noticed a small chip in my tooth. She said that Dr. Walters would take a look at it. During my examination, she said nothing to him about it and he did not notice the chip. I asked her about it after Dr. Walters walked out (his checks are pretty quick and routine), and she said that if he didn't notice it that it didn't matter. This really concerns me. Do the female hygienists not feel comfortable enough to tell Dr. Walters if he missed something, or to correct him, and/or to add anything to his work? Thankfully the tooth chip has not caused further issues (yet). Because of all this, I will likely not be returning. I enjoyed their service for years but these experiences make me feel as though my values do not align with this office and that is very important to me. EDIT: A few months after I posted this review, Dana Walters office has been texting almost every other week to call them, schedule an appointment, or to review them again and give them feedback. I have texted back "STOP" or unsubscribe every time yet they still somehow keep texting me. It's totally inappropriate. **

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Hygiene and Dentistry are top notch. Period. My smile speaks for itself. Which teeth are crowns? You absolutely cannot tell.

I've been going to Dr. Walter's for 15 years or so and I am very happy with everyone in their practice. Angela the dental hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Walter's is always a pleasure to work with and based on his work I would say he's a perfectionist. In addition, Karen at the front desk is always so pleasant and very helpful which is important as well. Just a great group all around and I highly recommend.

Dr. Walters and his team were great! After years of going to a dentist that didn't seem to care much about what I needed, I was astonished how great the service was! My previous dentist would always tell me "we'll talk about it next time" but when next time came, it was the same response. Dr.Walters found 3 cavities that my previous dentist never even mentioned to me so I didn't know I needed them fixed. And he made it a point to get me scheduled ASAP and not in another 3+ months! Dr. Walters and his team treat a patient how they should be treated with care and respect and have genuine concern for their dental care. They've got a patient for life from me!
