Dr. Northrup grew up in American Fork, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology. He attended dental school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated in 2004 with a DDS. He continued his education directly entering into the orthodontic program also at Marquette University. There he completed his Masters of Science degree and Certificate of Orthodontics in 2006. Dr. Northrup is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and other local dental and orthodontic societies.
Dr. Northrup and his wife, Kandace, have five joyful children. Outside of the office, Dr. Northrup is an avid golfer, loves fly-fishing in the local mountain streams, continuously is learning to trade the financial markets, and loves spending time with his family. He served an LDS mission to Argentina where he learned the Spanish language.

I just got done with my two year treatment with adult braces. Dr.Hicks and his staff were amazing. Alway prompt with getting me to be seen by the doctor. Even through the pandemic they ran a smooth office.

We love Dana at our house! All 4 of our kids and myself have had braces through Dana. They worked with our schedules and have payment options. The results are worth it.

Awesome place to get braces! Went for just one 2 years and had no bad experiences. Very easy to make appointments and they rarely ever take more than 30 minutes. When they take the braces off it is not painful at all they come off very clean and they also do a very good job taking off the glue. Definitely 5 stars

I cannot say enough good things about Dana Orthodontics. The whole staff is patient, understanding and kind. Dr. Northrup is easy to talk to, and what I appreciate the most is that he takes the time to listen and explain each step of the way. The financial process is easy to understand and reasonable. Definitely recommend.
