Dr. Dana Gamblin graduated with honors from the University of Virginia where she majored in Spanish Language with an emphasis in Pre-Medical studies. She then attended four years of dental training to earn her doctorate degree with top honors from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She was inducted into two honor societies for her dental, academic, and clinical achievements.
Upon completion of dental school, only ten percent of graduates are accepted into post-graduate specialty programs. Dr. Dana was accepted into the largest orthodontic residency program in the country at Saint Louis University. After defending her thesis and completing the required two-and-a-half years of study, she was honored to graduate as Valedictorian of her residency class. During her residency in Saint Louis, Dr. Dana also completed a one-year fellowship on the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies team at Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Dana grew up in Colorado where she developed her love of blue skies and the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She and her husband Neil have four kids and are thrilled to be raising their family in Greeley.
Dr. Dana loves being an orthodontist because it enables her to build working relationships with patients of all ages, helping them achieve a healthy bite and a beautiful smile. Being an orthodontist requires one to be a scientist, an artist, an architect, a teacher, a motivator, a counselor, and afriend. Bre joined the Dana Orthodontics team in August of 2020. She graduated from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. She participated on the college track team for four years which taught her about perseverance and teamwork. She had previously worked as a flight attendant with United Airlines where she was able to travel the world and meet many amazing people. Bre is an avid traveler. She enjoys exploring countries around the world and spending time outdoors in the warm weather. She is outgoing and spreads happiness through her smile. Bre enjoys the lasting relationships that the team at Dana Orthodontics creates with each patient.
Coree joined the Dana Orthodontics team in August of 2018. She was born and raised in Greeley. Coree enjoys spending her free time with friends and family. Her hobbies include paddle boarding and camping. Corees parents moved to Estes Park a couple years ago and she enjoys going to their cabin to see the beautiful mountains that Colorado has to offer. She loves greeting and welcoming patients at Dana Orthodontics and knows that braces and Invisalign are worth the investment. Coree was also a previous patient (check out those pearly whites). Her top priority is to help those who enter our doors to feel comfortable and at home.
Kendall joined the Dana Orthodontics team in May of 2021 upon returning to dentistry after five years of staying home with her new born son. Prior to that she had discovered her passion for dentistry while working as a practice manager for a local dental office. She also obtained her Masters in Communication and taught at Aims Community College in 2009. Kendall feels lucky to have been able to work in two fields which she loves so much and is excited to continue her next chapter with Dana Orthodontics. She truly enjoys getting to know patients and helping people achieve their ideal smile. She has witnessed how smile making can change peoples lives!
Loring joined the team in June of 2021. She grew up south of Denver but spent recent years in several states including Arizona where she graduated from college. In her free time Loring enjoys painting and spending time outdoors (if its not too cold). Loring is currently enrolled in online school and studying to become a personal trainer. With a background in customer service, Loring loves to make others feel important, comfortable and welcomed; being able to do all that while helping people reach their ideal image is even more rewarding. She is very thankful for the positive environment and hardworking team at Dana Orthodontics.
Melanie joined the Dana Orthodontics team in January of 2021 after completing a Dental Assisting Certificate at the Academy for Dental Assisting. Melanie is from Colorado and has lived in Evans her entire life. She and her family professionally race horses throughout the year. During her free time Melanie loves to train her horses and spend time with her family. She's working towards her goal to one day become an Equine Trainer. She loves working with Dana Orthodontics because she has the opportunity to assist Dr. Dana in building beautiful and healthy smiles. She has witnessed how a smile can increase a patients confidence. Melanie also enjoys building strong relationships with patients and team members.
Mikeldi joined the Dana Orthodontics team in September of 2018. She, unlike most of the team, is not originally from Colorado. Mikeldi grew up in Texas and Wyoming and moved to Colorado in 2014. Her hobbies include fishing, camping, and paddle boarding. She is the Diving Coach at Eaton High School and is currently getting her degree in Business. In her free time, she remodels and repairs old campers and resells them. Mikeldi enjoys working for Dana Orthodontics because she loves that Dr. Dana and her husband, Neil, are very involved in the community. She enjoys orthodontics because she is passionate about instilling confidence in our patients.
Neil is the captain of this smile making ship! He knows the ins and outs of the front and back office and everything in between. He can rap about dentistry with dentists, revive a computer in meltdown mode, and still talk with parents about fishing, football or family. Neil graduated with a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas and holds degrees in both counseling and divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary. He and Dr. Dana have been married for over 22 very happy years and they love working together as a team both at home, office, and church. Neil is a great father who loves to make everyone laugh and look on the bright side of life. He and Dr. Dana are very thankful to be raising their family as part of the Greeley/Weld community.
Reed joined the Dana Orthodontics team in June of 2019 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. He spent four years playing college golf and also had the opportunity to study abroad in France! He loves to spread smiles and make new friends through friendly conversations. Reed was a previous patient here and he really enjoyed the atmosphere and how everyone made him feel so comfortable while he was in treatment. Reed believes that the best gift he has ever been given was the opportunity to have braces because his smile gives him confidence. Reed wants to give back to the community by helping his patients walk away from Dana Orthodontics with excellent smiles.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children be screened by an orthodontist for orthodontic problems at age seven. Dr. Dana agrees with this recommendation, being aware that some orthodontic problems are best treated in two phases: phase one treatment (age seven to ten) and then a second phase (full braces) around the age of 12. Wonderful things can be accomplished with two-phase treatment! However, recent research has demonstrated that some orthodontic problems, even though quite severe-looking, are best treated in a single stage of treatment at age 12, rather than in two phases.
