I have been practicing dentistry now for over 30 years and still love being a dentist. Helping people every day and establishing long term relationships with my patients and their families makes me very grateful that I chose this profession.
I have the training and experience to provide my patients with the best dentistry has to offer to meet their needs from smile makeovers to implants, Invisalign orthodontics, TMJ treatments, sleep apnea and everything in between. I am committed to lifelong learning and attend many continuing education programs, as dentistry is constantly changing and it is important to me to be able to provide the best treatments for my patients.
My goal is to guide my patients in achieving optimal dental health which has been proven to improve their general health and wellbeing. It is important to me that my dental treatment lasts for many, many years. I do this by taking a comprehensive approach which incorporates optimum esthetics with proper function. We provide extra care for our anxious patients providing a full range of sedation options. We have the latest technology in our office including Digital x-rays and CT scan, Digital Impression scanning, medical grade Lasers and many other items to enhance our treatment and your comfort and safety.
Dr. Candace Kwakye is originally from Accra, Ghana. After attending high school there, she pursued her undergraduate degree at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, which was followed by the completion of her doctorate at Howard University. After graduating in 2015, she completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry to further expand her clinical skills.
The Dana Keith DDS & Candace Kwakye DDS team is extremely dedicated to staying current with the latest and most innovative dental technology and procedures by participating in extensive continuing education courses. Our goal is always to provide the best possible care to our patients. In an effort to deliver the most efficient, up-to-date care, our team has studied with world-renowned dentists, including Dr. Frank Spear. We are involved with ongoing Spear Education efforts, and we are members of the Faculty Study Club at The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in Scottsdale, AZ helping teach other dentists from across the country.
We are graduates of DOCS- Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, The Pankey Institute, and The Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Our certifications include Invisalign Premier Providers, IMTEC Mini Implants, DOCS- Sedation Dentistry, Zoom Whitening, Nobel Biocare dental implants, and CEREC CAD/CAM Dentistry for same-day porcelain restorations. Our team is always available when you have questions, and we will do our best to provide you with the correct information for your continued dental health.

My 1st visit with Dr. Kwakye was great! The staff were courteous, and attended to my care thoroughly. I live quite a distance away but don't mind driving for quality CARE.

My daughter woke up with a swollen face and they were able to see her immediately, this was unbelievably reassuring to me as we have never been here before. Erica was so patient and calming. I was in frantic mode! She had a great demeanor. Dr. Kwame was great too! My daughter is scared of dentists and everyone we interacted with was so pleasant, they made sure all her questions were answered and she didn't feel nervous. I can not thank this office enough for dealing with us! I look forward for brining the rest of my famiky in.

I started going to Dana Keith over 15 years ago. At the time I was in crisis with TMJ. My wife Sandra, a dentist in Reston at that time, searched everywhere for a TMJ expert -- and found Dana. She was right. As many of you know, TMJ is technically challenging and very few dentists are successful in treating TMJ well. Dana got me out of pain and I have been using his nightguard ever since. After 15 years I had an episode of minimal TMJ discomfort. I made an appointment and found that Dana was as delightful and caring as before, and Erica in his front office shares that sense of caring about their patients. In addition Dana was even more competent than before. He has continued to learn not only more precision about TMJ but continued to study all aspects of dentistry. He is sensitive to both physical and emotional needs and is capable in a broad practice to insure good dental health. He's really great. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
