I grew up not far from Federal Way, in North Bend (of Twin Peaks fame). I studied biology at Carleton College in Minnesota, the first person in my family to attend college, and then attended dental school at Oregon Health and Science University. In 2013, I returned home to western Washington, where I worked as an associate until purchasing Dr. Stacy Kandas practice upon his retirement.
I have always wanted to own my own business and am honored to be trusted with your dental care. My philosophy has always been to treat patients the same way I would treat myself or a loved one. I enjoy getting to know a wide range of patients from all walks of life and establishing a long-term relationship with them. As a new business owner, my goal is for patients to feel welcomed and comfortablelike they are family.
I have a conservative approach to dental treatment, which is why I emphasize preventative care. I strive to empower patients to take the best possible care of their teeth and be active participants in their dental treatment. One reason I became a dentist is because Ive always enjoyed working with my hands. I pay attention to details and take the time to make sure each restoration is as durable, painless, and aesthetically pleasing as possible.
When Im not wearing my dentist hat, I love spending time with my wife, an editor; watching my adorable toddler explore the world; and playing with my goofy Australian cattle dog mutt. I am passionate about animals and volunteer at my local dog shelter when I can. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures and foods; my most memorable recent trips have been to Japan and India.
Aaron has been in the dental field since 2017 and has been a dental hygienist since 2020. He is dedicated to providing gentle and thorough dental hygiene care with a strong emphasis on improving patients' home care techniques with in-chair education.
It is my pleasure to be part of the team here at Dan Roberts DMD. I started in dentistry in 1991 and love witnessing the positive impact dentistry can have on someone's smile and their overall health and wellness. I am always impressed by the kindness and dedication to excellence Dr. Roberts and our team display daily.When I am not in the office, my favorite time is spent in the company of my two grandsons.
I started working in dentistry in 2020. Each day, I welcome patients into the office and help explain and verify their insurance benefits. I enjoy meeting new people, helping patients understand their benefits, and connecting with people on a personal level. My favorite thing about working at Dan Roberts DMD is that we treat everyone with kindness and respect.
I began my career as a dental assistant in 2017. I enjoy meeting new people and having the opportunity to be a part of their dental care. I appreciate being part of the team at Dan Roberts DMD for the family-oriented atmosphere and focus on providing excellence in patient care.

Went in for a 6 month check up and cleaning . Very good service from front office lady, dental hygienist was very professional and excellent with my cleaning and DR. checked my teeth all went well.

I was nervous before going to my first appointment due to not going to the dentist for more than a year (from circumstances out of my control). Aaron, the hygienist, was careful and kind, properly explaining each step or why certain things were being done. It helped alleviate any anxiety. I even learned a little bit more about my teeth and jaw that I didn't know about before. Dr. Roberts was personable and kind, and helped adjust a night guard I had from my previous dentist. Staff were genuine in all interactions. Equipment and facilities were clean and new. Happy to have this office as my new dentist!

I've been using a mouthwash that had stained my teeth. The hygenist did an amazing job in cleaning it up. It turned out much better than I expected. I appreciate her effort and advice on how to manage my dental care going forward

My first visit to the practice. The lobby is inviting and calm. Aaron greeted me at the exact time of the appointment. After introducing himself as my hygienist he lead me to a dental chair where I received full x-rays, viewed the insurance coverage and out of pocket, cleaning and dr. evaluation. It was the coolest thing! Aaron is kind, knowledgeable, efficient and thoughtful. Dr Robert's arrived and was equally as personable. A referral was issued and after I received my dental goodie bag and excited to the lobby, Alba at the front desk was on the phone with the specialist setting things up for me. Very impressive. Good people who will make an excellent care team for anyone!

Went in for my six-month cleaning.The staff is always friendly and caring. Short wait time the dental hygienist was organized and the room was very clean. She did a quick and thorough cleaning explaining any issues. Dr.Dan did his examination very genital explaining any issues and suggesting correcting action.or treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Dan for your dental care needs.

This was my first visit to Dr. Roberts office and I had a great experience. Nadia the dental hygienist is highly recommended. She did a very detailed and gentle cleaning. Alba did an awesome job at helping sort out my insurance coverage. Nice office and friendly staff.
