Dr. Justin 'Jay' Stephens joined the dental profession after graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine in 2019. Being the avid Dallas Cowboys fan that he is, as well as having family in Texas, Dr. Jay decided to plant his roots in East Texas where he began practicing his craft. He started as an Associate Dentist with Aspen Dental in Tyler, Texas and then shortly after, he assumed the role as Managing Clinical Director for the Marshall, Texas office until April 2021. It was at this time Dr. Jay decided to leave corporate dentistry to join private practice where his desire was to grow with families and his community. Dr. Jay really does have a passion for making a positive impact in people 's lives and dentistry is just one of the ways that enables him to accomplish that. Dr. Jay is aware that the dental office can be a scary place for most, but he strives to create a nurturing and wholesome experience with each patient by exercising compassion, patience, humor, knowledge, and a host of other personal skills to inspire and hopefully change one 's perspective of the dentist. Among the many things that Dr. Jay enjoys doing on his spare time, he enjoys going to concerts, sporting events, the outdoors, volunteer work, and traveling with his wife and their two dogs. Bought dentures. Dentures were bought by my Medicade. Haven't even had a year. They broke and now they're refusing to repair . They stated they were repaired before when they had not been. They repaired my old dentures not my news ones they made for me. This a work in progress and hopefully they will honor their work. 10/06/2022 The dentist office has decided to fix my dentures. Will post later after the results.

This office was such a toxic work environment! They treat their staff horrible and the patients even worse! This is definitely not the office it use to be when Dr. McCauley was there!

Been trying to give you guys some money for several weeks now and I can't seem to get ahold of anyone..try to leave a message and the mailbox is full..go up there in person and finally was able to talk to someone but they wouldn't let me in or accept my payment because their computers are "off" and they're training...smh..call tomorrow she said...8-5 we are taking payments over the phone..well I'm calling and no answer ! Someone best take my $29 or just let it go to collections and see if i pay it...my God, never had this much problem trying to pay my bill!

My experience was a very pleasant and successful one. The dental technician who cleaned my teeth was not only very welcoming "right off the bat," but she continued to be very friendly. As far as the cleaning part, she was very professional in her work. I have yet to have a negative experience when I have my dental appointments. Also, when I went to check out with the billing department, the lady told me I didn't owe anything because my insurance would take up the cost. She also scheduled me for my next appointment. I was completely taken care of.

So i was told by the lady's in the front office that I owed so much money and when I asked why my insurance didn't cover it they said they were told by my insurance that my bill was not covered because they had billed another dentist.. so I called my insurance and they said they never received a claim from the dentist office or a phone call.. so I was able to get it fixed but that is not my job the front office should of done what they get paid for.. if I wouldn't have fixed it myself I would have had to pay the balance out of pocket... It's a shame they have so many billing issues because the dentists are really good..

HORROR STORY I had a terrible experience with this dentist. The billing staff is horrible. They neglected to bill my insurance in a timely manor (a whole year) and now they expect me to pay the complete balance in full due to their error. The work I had done consisted of a root canal and a crown- and guess what? Not only did they try to get me to pay out of pocket for these procedures which would have been one hundred percent covered by my insurance, but the permanent replacement tooth fell out!!! I absolutely would NOT recommend this dentist with rude and incompetent billing staff. Thanks a lot Dan P Mc Cauley DDS

I had a 10:30 am app.and I was 13 minutes late due to road construction..although the wait room was empty and they had a patient being seen..they said I would have to reschedule..this was at 10:43 am on a Friday...sounds like they all wanted to get done early. This was only going to have been my 3rd app.My 2nd app.was not much better either,at the 2nd app.I was supposed to get work done on 3 teeth and upon arrival I was told they where overbooked and they would only have time to do some of the work that morning.Note:This was also a Friday a.m. app.I also tried calling the office prior to arrival and somehow with 3 ladies in front office no one ever answered the phone...?????
