Dr. Hilton is a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, practicing in the Los Angeles area since 1985. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He was a participant of the local dental society, Peer Review Committee for over fifteen years, including a position as Chairman for a four year tenure.
He is California State Board Certified in Intravenous and Oral Conscious Sedation from UCLA, thereby, being proficient in all aspects of dental anesthesia and emergency preparedness, lending a safe environment to this specialized technique. He is the only restorative dentist, in the 50 year history of the California Dental Society of Anesthesiology, on the distinguished anesthesiaBOARD, furthering the development of safety protocol and training in the procedural aspects of dental sedation.
His career focus has emphasized cosmetic dentistry,dental restoration implant dentistry,and comprehensive dental rehabilitation with a multidisciplinary approach. His involvement in the planning of complicated treatment for his dental patients, with a multitude of dental specialists, has earned him great respect in his professional community. In addition, Dr. Dan P Hilton has specialized training, from the UCLA School of Dentistry Department of Oral Medicine, in the management of sleep disorders, with an emphasis on thetreatment of snoring and sleep apnea. He completed, in 2011, a comprehensive residency in the field of Orofacial Pain,TMJ Disorders, and headaches at the UCLA Dental Department of Oral Medicine. This included further advanced training in dental sleep medicine. He continues to actively participate in the UCLA Sleep Medicine and Orofacial Pain Study Club since its inception in 2013, along with his ongoing affiliation with the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. In 2020 Dr. Hilton completed advanced training on the pandemic, furthering his practice renovation to provide ultra safe measures for us all. For this year 2021 Dr. Hilton, with vaccination, will be participating on further advanced restortive and cosmetic rehabilitation coursework.
Dr. Hilton was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and resides in the local area. He graduated in 1981 from California State University Northridge, with Summa Cum Laude honors, before moving on to UCLA for his dental curriculum. Outside of his daily active practice, Dr. Hilton spends important time with his family. He finds enjoyment cycling, hiking, kayaking, and scuba diving. His diving has taken him on journeys from the Caribbean to the South Pacific.
Dr. Pariksha Gunnala joined our dental practice in 2019, providing a wealth of diversity and experience, graduating from the USC School of Dentistry in 2010. We are pleased to announce Dr. Pariksha Gunnala coming to our practice brings extensive orthodontic experience, being a preferred 'Invisalign' provider and completing a residency in straight wire orthodontics in 2014. She recently completed a dental sleep medicine residency in the fall of 2019 at UCLA School of Dentistry to further complement our practice in the treatment of sleep related breathing disorders, such as snoring and apnea.
In 2020, Dr. Pariksha Gunnala is actively participating in a 'hands on' advanced aestheticdentistry residency through professorship from UCLA School of Dentistry, involving the leader experts from around the world, promoting the latest advances in dental cosmetics for our patients. The coursework continues into complex dental rehabilitation training throughout 2021.
Dr. Pariksha Gunnala graduated from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude honors with a bachelors degree in Chemistry. She holds additional bachelors degrees in Commerce and Arts from the University of Delhi, India. Having affiliations with the American Dental Association, the American Orthodontic Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Gunnala brings a strong knowledge base to our practice.
Dr. Gunnala relocated last year to Los Angeles after spending nearly a decade in her own private practice in Dallas, Texas.In her time away from our dental office, she enjoys all types of outdoor activities, along with cooking in the kitchen with family and friends.
We are certified as a staff in all aspects of Sedation Dentistry. We passed State Board certification for Intravenous Sedation Dentistry and all aspects of medical emergency preparedness for the safety of our patients. We are all CPR and AED certified. Our staff iswell trained inunderstanding treatment options for patients experiencing the effects of sleep apnea and snoring.

If you're looking for an honest, professional, caring, and extremely knowledgeable dentist and staff this is the place to go. From teeth cleaning to crowns you feel like you matter, you're not rushed through the appointment and you feel like part of the family. Highly recommended by a coworker, I found Dr. Hilton and his entire staff of dental assistants, hygienists, receptionist and billing clerks to be the most professional and personable dental team I've ever encountered. He took the time to go over all the options, answer all my questions and create a customized set of partial plates that solved my immediate issues and could be modified for future concerns. Their Woodland Hills office is pristinely clean, safe and easily accessible - with dental chairs so comfortable it's easy to take a quick nap!

My family has had the privilege of knowing Dr. Hilton for over 25yrs and I can honestly say he is exceptional in his field. He and his staff are friendly, professional and compassionate to our needs. They have all gone beyond general safety measures during Covid, and have really been there for us during emergency situations. We are so grateful to Dr. Hilton and all of his staff.

Dan has been our family dentist (about 25 or 30 of us) for decades. I have referred many friends over the years and all of us are completely satisfied with the care we have received. Dr. Hilton is an exceptional dentist, and he and his team offer tremendous care. The office has always been pristine, and during COVID measures have been taken to ensure utmost sanitation and cleanliness. Having been to other "nice" dental offices in the past that clearly didn't take office hygiene seriously, I feel at ease when in Dr. Hilton's office. I have seen multiple hygienists in Dr. Hilton's office, all of whom were gentle yet left me with excellent cleanings. Dr. Hilton always remembers me and makes a point to say hello even when I'm in the office for cleaning. I require full sedation for certain dental procedures, and Dr. Hilton has spent hours with me preparing me for treatment where sedation was needed. I cannot recommend Dr. Hilton enough!

I had my first appointment last week in Dr. Hilton's office, and I cannot speak highly enough of every staff member I came in contact with and the superb checkup I got. Just moved here from IL where I saw the same dentist and hygienist for approximately 30 years so my criteria for a dentist was very high. Drs. Gunnala and Hilton met that criteria, as did my new dental hygienist Cheryl. Thanks to all of you. I'll most definitely be back!

I, too, agree that the care I've received at Dr. Hilton's office has been of the highest quality and with minimal discomfort. Every detail throughout the office is meticulous in every regard. He upgrades to the latest (best) equipment. This is the definition of a Professional operation, staffed by a very competent team. I have also called in for emergency attention after a weekend vehicle accident, and my tooth was made much less uncomfortable until full restoration could start (immediately into the week). Where else would do you go to get service like this? Oh, and to the complainer below, his staff is so competent that any rare circumstance may look like no big deal; it's more of a matter of superbly trained Professionals performing exactly as they have been trained.

I went to him with terrible sleep apnea and he constructed a dental device that has totally resolved the problem. I sleep better than I ever have and don't feel tired during the day anymore. His staff is great too. I would never go to anyone else but Dr. Hilton.

I have been going to doctor Hilton for over 20 years. I must say that every aspect of his practice is outstanding, never a problem...great staff. Whenever the topic of dentistry comes up with others I know how good I have it. My mother, "TOOTS" who passed away recently sent all of her friends to him as well. The practice would get 10 star's if I could!!!
