Dr. Dan Barrett attended University of Nevada Reno where he received his Bachelors degree in biology. He obtained his DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland. Dr. Barrett pursued advanced training in general dentistry at a general practice residency in Sacramento with the Veterans Hospital before moving back to the Reno/Tahoe area.
Dr. Barrett also received additional training through Spear Education and currently practices general and cosmetic dentistry in Reno. His goal is to ensure that each patient feels welcome and comfortable by treating them like a member of his family.
Dr. Barrett grew up in Reno and attended McQueen High School. When time permits, he enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, kayaking, and paddle boarding on Lake Tahoe. He loves traveling and exploring new places with his wife, Desi. They dont have kids yet, but love spending their time with their Australian Shepherd, Moss.
Deneen is a Reno, NV native and attended Truckee Meadows Community College where she studied both dental assisting and dental hygiene. She has been with our practice for 14 years and works hard to earn her patients trust by building relationships that go beyond treating them in her dental chair. Deneens goal is to treat her patients as part of her extended family.
Angie is a Reno native who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition at University of Nevada, Reno. She then attended Apollo College where she received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.
Cindy is a native of Elgin, IL. She has been a dental assistant for 26 years and sharing her skill with us for the past 17. In addition to certification in dental assisting, Cindy is trained to use our Dentrix office management software to streamline our patients visits. She is also certified to use our Dexis x-ray system and is knowledgeable in infection control and OSHA regulations.
Cindy enjoys building trusting relationships with our patients by getting to know them and sharing experiences. When shes not helping patients, you can find her camping, riding quads, crafting, and taking care of animals.
Deanna is trained to use the Dentrix practice management system to make sure billings and financing runs smoothly. She is certified in infection control and is trained to use the state-of-the-art Dexis x-ray system.
Colleen studied dental radiography at Truckee Meadows Community College. She is trained to use our Dentrix practice management software to make your visits easy and efficient. She has also been trained to use our Dexis x-ray system and is certified in OSHA regulations and infection control.

I have been going to Dr. Barrett for several years. I am always pleased with the ease of the whole experience. I arrive at my scheduled time, am taken promptly to a chair, and all of my experiences have been pleasant - even when needing to have some work done. I have had a few cavities filled, and I find Dr. Barrett's work to be of the highest quality. The staff is friendly and efficient, and I highly recommend this practice.

You will look a long way to even partially have the entire crew to ALL be top notch, as they are here. They all know what they are doing and help in any way possible. I always have a positive and friendly experience at Dr. Barrett's office. The front office staff always has a friendly smile, my Dental Hygienist is awesome. She is gentle and very thorough when cleaning my teeth. She always has a smile and makes me feel like family. Dr. Barrett always has a smile and is up beat when I see him. He never seems rushed. He always takes the time to ask questions, listen to what I have to say and always makes me feel like I am his only patient at the time. Thank you for always making my experience good and making me feel like family.

Very professional staff. They were friendly. Dr. Barrettt has an awesome manner. He makes you feel at ease and explains things in lamen ways. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 5 yrs. My teeth were decayed , brokeoff and missing. I don't smile without covering my nouth. In a few weeks I'll have dentures and be ablebto laugh and smile without being embarrassed. I can't wait. Thank you Dr. Barrett and staffvfor making me feel alive again !

Dr. Dan is super awesome! Angie and he are nice to talk to and really care about what you are saying. They engage the patient and can hold a conversation. Most Dr's lack in that department. I look forward to my next visit with them!
