Dr. Dameron is a native of Newport News, Va. She completed her undergraduate degree in Food Science and Nutrition at Virginia Tech. She then completed her DDS degree in 1997 at the Medical College of Virginia with Honors. At the University of Pittsburgh she did a one year residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program.
Dr. Dameron is married to a Richmond native, James, and they have an 11 year old son named Cole. In her spare time, she enjoys hot yoga and snow skiing. She loves watching her son Cole play sports like football, soccer, and competitive swimming. She also likes spending time with family and friends. She's involved in numerous volunteer dental missions and helps out at local schools doing dentistry. A unique fact is that she has a identical twin sister who is also a dentist.
Dr. Dameron is a member of local, state, and national dental organizations and has sat on numerous boards over the years. She currently is appointed by the Governor to serve on the Radiation Advisory Committee. She is truly passionate about dentistry and so excited and grateful to have the opportunity to serve you and your family's dental needs.
Katherine has been practicing dental hygiene for 10 years and loves helping patients improve and maintain their oral health. She lives in Midlothian with her husband and 9 year old son. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing arts and crafts.
Christy was born and raised right here in the Richmond area. She has been with the practice since 2009 as Dr. Dameron's dental assistant, she has recently taken on the role of overseeing marketing for the practice but can still be seen in the office dental assisting or helping up front . Christyand her husband Bailey were married in 2008 and have a combined 5 daughters: Jackie, Corinne, Avery, Allyson, and Olivia. She enjoys fitness, being active in her church, and spending time with her family.
Rebecca was born and raised in Tappahannock, Va. She and her husband Josh were married in 2016 and have one daughter, Aria. In her spare time she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family as well as her fur babies. Rebecca can be seen in the office filling in as Dr. Dameron's assistant but more specifically as our ZOOM Bleaching expert! Looking to brighten that smile? Ask for Rebecca!
Dana, originally from West Virginia, is the Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator. She has been in the dental field for nearly forty years. Her personality and warm smile are always remembered as patients often ask for her by name. Come visit and Dana will be there to answer any questions.Dana and her husband Greg have two children, Adam and Andrea, and two grandchildren Ryanne and Ridge. Dana is an EMT with Quinton Volunteer Fire & EMS and loves helping others. During her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Kristen was born and raised in the Richmond area and lives in Hanover with her partner Kele. They have two daughters, Kyndall and Kayson. In her spare time Kristen enjoys cooking, being by the water and spending time with her fur baby Sadie. Kristen comes to us with over 10 years experience and her CDA from Medical Educators of Richmond.
