Dr. Lauterbach was raised in Evanston. She graduated from Oberlin College in 1977. In 1981, she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where she earned an Award of Merit for Outstanding Clinical Achievements in a comprehensive patient care program. Upon graduation, she worked as an associate for another dentist and in May of 1983, she opened the practice and in August of 1988, Dr. Susan Torma joined her.
She currently resides in Evanston with her husband and is the proud mother of two children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exercising, bicycling, travel, golfing, and spending time with friends.
Dr. Torma grew up outside of Boston. She received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in 1982 and then spent 2 years as a research assistant in the Microbiology department at Rockefeller University in NYC. She graduated 3rd in her class from Northwestern Dental School in 1988, where she received the American Association of Women Dentists award for Leadership and Academic Excellence and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. In 1988, Dr.Torma joined Dr.Lauterbachs practice. She continues to keep current with the latest dental treatments with ongoing continuing education.
Dr. Pappas was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she was president of both the American Association of Public Health Dentistry and the American Association of Women Dentists University of Michigan Chapters. After graduation, Dr. Pappas moved to Chicago and completed a general practice residency program at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where she received advanced training in general dentistry. In addition to her residency, Dr. Pappas has completed advanced training in Invisalign and Botox therapy.
