Jessica had been involved in the field of dentistry for six years. She was trained and certified in Round Rock, Texas. What she enjoys most about her job is educating patients and explaining treatment that has been presented to them. She feels that it is most rewarding to see the oral health of our new patients improve and see them smile from ear to ear. She loves being a dental assistant! Outside of the practice, Jessica enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter and her family. She likes gardening and having cookouts with friends and family.
Octavio joined our staff in 2015. He graduated Clayton State University with a B.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene. Octavio strives to give his patients the best care in order to help them improve and maintain their oral health! Octavio enjoys staying active whether it is going to the gym or being outdoors. Outside of work, Octavio enjoys working out and trying different types of foods. During the summertime, he enjoys having family cookouts with his family and friends.
Dr. Michael Blackmon comes to Dalton Family Dentistry with 23 years of dental experience. He has practiced the last 16 years in the Rome area and brings proficiency in all areas of General Dentistry. He is originally from Cleveland Tn and obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University as a scholarship football player. Dr. Blackmon obtained his DDS degree from UT Memphis in 1997. Dr. Blackmon and his wife Robin have two children Abby and Reid. Dr. Blackmon enjoys family, hiking, exercise and fishing in his spare time. He looks forward to meeting everyone and continuing excellent dental care for our patients.
Maricruz has been living in Dalton for most of her life. She has been working in the dental field for 5 years. She began as a dental assistant and with hard work and dedication moved up to Practice Manager. Maricruz strives to offer patients a positive and friendly experience. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her dog. In her spare time she loves to spend it with her family.

These people gave me the most awful dentist experience of my life they overcharged me for everything thing I had left bone showing in my gums made me the cheapest partial in the world for the price of 2 full sets of false teeth. I would not ever recommend any one to go there WORST DENTIST AROUND PERIOD!!!!!!!

Went for a cleaning. They didn't want to tell me how much it was. They spend about 10 minutes doing the cleaning. They didn't a bunch of tests I didn't ask for. I have insurance and I still got a bill for $400.00. They submitted a claim for $500.00 I don't know why a simple 10 minute clean cost $500.00. They're just trying to scam people.

Terrible place. Wanted to charge me $25 for not showing up to the appointment that I tried to cancel but couldn't because no one would answer the phone when I called multiple times. Will never go to this dentist again.
