Dr. Jake earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University before receiving his dental training. He attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated #1 in his class. Dr. Jake completed his orthodontic training at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, receiving his Master of Science in Dentistry and Certification in Orthodontics.
In order to provide the best care possible, Dr. DaBell knows that he needs to stay abreast of all the newest technology in the orthodontic field. Dr. DaBell participates in many continuing education programs at meetings throughout the country and through online programs. He loves continuing education because he loves to learn, and the more he knows, the better he can serve his patients. Dr. DaBell is dedicated to staying current with the ever-evolving technology in the orthodontic field.
Dr. Jake loves spending time with his wife, Abby, and their 4 children, Connor, Ellie, Mason and Emery. He also enjoys hiking, skiing, boating, paddle-boarding, reading, playing the cello, listening and making music, watching and playing all types of sports, running, cycling, and traveling.
Dr. Jake enjoys making a difference in his community and doing his part to make it a wonderful place. He and his team have actively supported several local charities over the years. They are also very involved in supporting local schools. Dr. Jake is a Boy Scout leader and actively involved in his church.
Dr. Joseph Paventy attended Brigham Young University, Idaho, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He then went on to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for his dental training where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors. After completion of dental school he was accepted to the University of Oklahoma for specialty training in orthodontics where he received his Masters degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.
Research and continuing education are important parts of Dr. Paventys practice and allow him to provide the best possible care for his patients. He has been given many prestigious awards throughout his schooling.
Dr. Joe and his wife, Jeana, love Spokane and the surrounding communities. They both grew up here and are thrilled to have been able to come back home to raise a family and practice orthodontics. They currently have four wonderful children. As a family they try to be active in the community.
Dr. Paventy has coached little league baseball teams, is involved in the local Boy Scouts of America troops, raises money for the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure, and is active in their church. When Dr. Paventy has free time he enjoys reading, all kinds of exercise, watching college football, and cheering on the Seattle Mariners.
Dr. Bunker graduated from Brigham Young University prior to attending dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he graduated as valedictorian. He then completed his orthodontic specialty training in Boston, Massachusetts at Tufts University.
Dr. Bunker continues to stay up-to-date on new techniques and technologies to provide his patients with the best orthodontic treatment by completing numerous continuing education programs every year. It is important to him that his patients are provided personalized, quality, and efficient care that addresses their esthetic and functional desires.
Dr. Bunker is a Washington native growing up in Camas. He stays active with his wife Jennie and daughters Campbell and Lola by exploring parks, trails, and lakes. Around the house, his family enjoys yard games with friends such as Kubb, Bocce Ball, Kan Jam, and anything with a ball and some friendly competition. He enjoys baking homemade bread and is an ice cream fanatic. Dr. Bunker and his family are excited to return to Washington State and enjoy being involved in the amazing Spokane, Colville, and Cheney communities.

What I love most about working in an orthodontic office is seeing how big our patients smiles become, especially the day they get their braces off. I love being a part of helping someone find their self-confidence.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three daughters. We love the outdoors and spend lots of time gardening, hiking and hanging out at the lake. I also enjoy photography, playing games and making crafts with my girls. I love to travel and am always up for an adventure especially if it involves the beach and palm trees.
I think the beautiful summer weather and variety of outdoor activities makes Washington a fantastic place to live. I love having family and friends come to visit us and show them all of the fun things our beautiful area has to offer.
The best part about working at an orthodontic practice is getting to know our wonderful patients. It is so fun to experience their journey alongside them and watch as their smile transforms into something that brings them so much joy. I also love working with such a positive and energetic staff. It makes work so much fun! The doctors genuinely care about their staff and patients and it really makes the office a wonderful place to be.
My favorite part about working at DaBell and Paventy Ortho is I get to meet some very nice families and help them get started with their orthodontic journey of creating beautiful smiles. I also get to work with an amazing team!
My favorite part about coming to work is spending time with my coworkers and talking with my patients. Patients and their family really become fun friends. I have been an Ortho Tech for 17 years and met so many great people.
My husband and I enjoy camping, fishing, and joining our friends for pool, darts, and outdoor shenanigans. We have five adorable fur kids that keep us entertained. I am a huge animal lover and very involved in rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned and stray cats.
I love the doctors I work for and the assistants are pretty cool as well! We all make each other laugh, even when things get hectic. We give the highest care to all our patients and it truly shows in everything we do!
