Dr. Morazan knew since his teenage years that he was going to pursue a dental degree, knowing that it was a profession that was a perfect combination of his two main interests; art and science. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Wanting to enhance his training in the provision of dental services to medically compromised patients, he completed a General Practice Residency in hospital dentistry at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Afterwards he completed an Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Knowing that he wanted to be in public service and provide dental care to underserved patient populations, he obtained his Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Following his desire to serve the public, Dr. Morazan was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS). He served in several states with the Indian Health Service and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, serving the dental needs of underserved and disadvantaged patient populations. During this period, he completed temporary duty assignments the U.S. Navy during Operation Iraqi Freedom and in Louisiana during the Hurricane Katrinas emergency relief efforts. Uponcompleting his USPHS tenure, he had achieved the rank of Commander and earned 12 different Awards & Citations; receiving an honorable discharge.

Upon leaving the service, Dr. Morazan proceeded to establish Da Vinci Dental Arts in his hometown of Edison, New Jersey. His vision to provide outstanding dental services while still serving the people in the community is reflected in his practice of dentistry. He has committed himself to always enhance his skills and knowledge. To achieve these goals he has completed numerous advanced training courses including the American Academy of Implant Dentistrys Maxi-course in dental implantology, the NYU Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetic Treatment and the NYU Full Mouth Reconstruction program. His commitment to continuing education translates into better and more effective dental treatments for all his patients, in an age where phenomenal advances in dentistry are moving forward at a thunderous pace.

Dr. Morazan not only wants to give back to his community, but he also wants to give back and serve the dental profession. Knowing the value of that young dental professionals can get from more experienced and motivated mentors, Dr. Morazan serves as a Clinical Assistant Faculty at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He there teaches the graduate level residents from the General Practice Residents in the Oral Medicine Clinic. There he teaches Dental Residents all aspects of the provision of dentistry and how to integrate their theoretical knowledge and clinical skills into a comprehensive care patient experience.

When not treating dental patients, Dr. Morazan loves spending time with his wife and his son, who can now run faster than and bench press more than he can. He enjoys hiking and swimming, but his favorite sport is baseball. He is a tried and true Dodgers fan and would love to tell you how a Jersey Boy can be a Dodger fan he has been waiting since 1988 for another Dodgers World Series title and his dreams came through when the Dodgers were crowned World Series Champions again in 2020! He is also an avid traveler and enjoys spending a lot of his free time reading, and indulging on his keen interests in evolutionary biology and the historical development of the multiple hominid species and subsequent human societies.

Dr. Fuentes was the first in her family to graduate from college, but she always knew that she wanted to achieve even more. Dr. Fuentes then proceeded to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. While in dental school she participated in the Department of Health and Human Services Junior and Senior COSTEP programs, providing dental health services at a Native-American reservation in Utah. During that time her spark for dental public health programs was kindled.

Upon graduating dental school, Dr Fuentes decided to follow her calling and spend time providing care for underserved and economically disadvantaged patient populations. She got commissioned as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Public Health Service and served as a clinical dentist with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Afterwards she completed a two-year Advanced General Practice Residency in hospital dentistry at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, New Mexico while serving with the Indian Health Service in both Arizona and New Mexico. During her active duty service with the USPHS, Dr. Fuentes achievedthe rank of Lieutenant Commander and performed several tours of duty throughout the nation including multiple emergency deployments to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina after the outbreak of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During her service, she earned multiple awards and citations and received an honorable discharge.

After completion of her active duty with the U.S. Public Health Services, Dr. Fuentes returned to private practice. She now focuses on providing the best dental care in a thoughtful and caring environment. Dr. Fuentes also has the kiddie magic touch and loves providing dental care to children. She believes in achieving outstanding oral health in all her patients through the combination of proper dental health, function, and aesthetics through patient education & treatment.

When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Fuentes likes to cook and listen to music. She loves spending time with her son, Walter and playing video games with him, without ever being able to beat him at any of them. She looks forward to taking care of your dental health! Cheers!

Melissa graduated from the Eastern International Colleges dental hygiene program and received her Associate Degree (AAS) in Dental Hygiene. Melissa is a dedicated member of the Da Vinci Dental Arts team and she is an instrumental part of oral hygiene and prevention programs at the practice. She is a tireless advocate for best possible dental care and educating patients to improve their oral health has always been her everyday goal. Melissa has advanced her education with a certificate in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey to allow patients the comfort they deserve. She constantly attends continuing education lectures to keep updated on latest technologies and methodologies to better treat patients. Melissa is fluid in English and Polish and will be looking forward to providing you with the most comprehensive dental care services possible.

Mariana has over twelve years of dental office management experience. In addition to coordinating the everyday logistical and operational tasks at our office, she is also ready to ensure that all of your experiences at our office are the absolute best. She will also ensure that your dental insurance options are thoroughly reviewed so that the totality of your dental benefits, that you are eligible for every calendar year, are maximized. She also ensures that all operations at our office run smoothly and makes sure that every patient receives the very best customer care and support at all times. Her tri-lingual skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese, always are very useful to our diverse patient populations. Betsy has been working in dental office settings for many years. You could say that she started when she was a child, since her mother has been a dental office manager for many years throughout her childhood! She is a dedicated, hard worker with years of dental administrative experience. She is also a dental insurance wizard and will strive to diligently ensure that your insurance benefits are fully maximized in your favor. Adriana is a superb dental assistant and she currently holds a radiology license from the State of New Jersey along with a dental assistant certificate from the Central Career Institute. She is hoping to continue her educational coursework to pursue a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) status and to eventually become an expanded functions dental assistant. She is certified in OSHA Compliance and Infection Control as well as in bloodborne pathogens protocols and she has her certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS). She enjoys working on restorative and pediatric dentistry services. Adriana is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is there to ensure that your experience at our office is always a pleasant one.

Alexia is our lead dental assistant and she pursued her dental assistant education at the Everest Institute. She is currently advancing her state certification by taking continual educational courses and striving to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She currently has a radiology license from the State of New Jersey. She is certified in OSHA Compliance and Infection Control as well as in bloodborne pathogens protocols and she has her certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS). She has ample experience in infection control protocols, dental surgery assistance techniques and prosthodontic treatment protocols.
