Dr. Ramon Rodriguez completed his undergraduate at Florida International University in 2004, where he majored in chemistry. He then attended the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from which he graduated in 2009. He has completed many advanced training courses, including:
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Academy of Osseointegration (AOI). Dr. Rodriguez has also received several awards, including the Miami-Dade Countys Major Top Award for Excellence in Community Service award for four consecutive years (2015-2019). This is awarded through the New Smiles Foundation for serving victims of human trafficking, domestic violence and extreme poverty. Dr. Rodriguez also created and promoted the Make the Right Choice Campaign to improve youth dental, mental and spiritual health while fighting against drug addiction and visiting local schools.
Dr. Rodriguez is committed to providing a significant contribution to the dental, oral, mental and spiritual health of each patient through the creation and establishment of sincere and long-lasting patient-doctor relationships. The daily practice of dentistry has always been his dream job and fuels his constant passion to serve each patient in need.
Dr. Rodriguez takes a very comprehensive approach to continuing education in an effort to improve patient care. From the day he was licensed to practice dentistry, he has continuously participated in multiple professional study groups to review challenging clinical cases and learn from the success and failures of his colleagues in order to improve his own level of patient care. Dr. Rodriguez frequently reviews the leading peer-reviewed journals, attends conferences and communicates with his colleagues and members of academia to stay abreast of the latest developments in the dental field. He finds that practicing dentistry is a daily learning experience and is optimized by carefully listening to and addressing his patients concerns and providing them with genuine care and confidence. Through genuine empathy, understanding and trust, strong patient-doctor relationships can be forged, allowing him to increase his patients awareness about the importance of dental health and the prevention of oral-dental diseases.
Like many who make Miami-Dade County home, Dr. Rodriguez immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. After completing dental school, he decided to put down roots in the community that welcomed his family in order to give back. He is close to his parents, Ramon and Maida, and he and his wife. Dr. Vivian Diaz, have two children, Sophia and Daniel. Outside the office, Dr. Rodriguezs hobbies include outdoor activities such as walking, swimming, running and biking.

I was not very happy with the experience. They were trying to charge me over $400 for a deep cleaning. They tried to upsell me so many services that I found out later that I did not need at all. I did not feel comfortable there, and just felt that I was dealing with salesmen and not health professionals. I decided to get a second opinion by another local and reputable dentist. I found out that I did not need a deep cleaning, and none of the other stuff they tried to sell me. I understand its a business, but don't try to ripoff your community.

I have never experienced such bad customer service. Took my little girl for a consult, and all this people after is $$$ very unprofessional. They drive the care to just money.

I really recommend this dental office. They give you a 5 stars customer service from the moment you call to schedule and appointment until they are checking you out. Everyone is fully dedicated to the patients that are their # 1 Priority. The receptionists, Paola & Jennifer were very attentive and knowledgeable, checking my dental insurance plan right away through the phone. Once we got to the office (my wife and 2 kids); we found a clean and cozy place following a strict corona virus covid-19's safety protocol. In less than 5 minutes we all were taking to our treating rooms and the assistants were very gentle and professional, ready to answer all of our questions. Next, the Dentist, Dr. Rodriguez came in and was very clear and thorough even checking my wife and I's TMJ's joints and focusing in the prevention of dental diseases through a hands on demonstration of proper flossing, brushing and rinsing daily. Finally, their dental insurance plan specialist explained to us all our benefits to minimize our treatment costs. Our experience at D&R Dentistry was really good. It is a Family oriented place, where they truly help you with your dental needs.

they have the worst customer service and overall i do not recommend this office at all , they dont care about the patients at all the ladys that are there are only there for their paycheck you can see it clearly, i needed to get a procedure done and they didnt informed me ahead of time before me going there and wasting my time on top of that they didnt know what to do or how to proceed , it you dont want to WASTE your time do not go here , PATIENTS should be your #1 priority , customer service should be the best one if you want to keep patients in , I got my procedure in a center close by what a difference from A to Z dont waist your time here

Worst doctor I ever been too, please don't wast your time here. He made me wait hours to see my daughter to tell me he couldn't see her. Rude and disgusting !! HE SHOULD NOT HAVE A LICENCE!!!!!

Broken equipment guard glasses Dental hygienist does not explain what she's doing No floss after cleaning Dentist did not come see me after my cleaning, hygienist called him and he said "if you don't think nothing is wrong, I don't need to see him" No go away package with toothbrush floss and toothpaste 1 1/2 hour wait for My daughter and he was rude about it NOT COMING BACK - there are way too many good dentist out there to be spending my money with this doctor.

Horrible service, that dr is so unprofessional!!! He didn't even sit down to check on my kids and told me that the insurance doesn't cover a deep cleaning. They put x-rays of my kids and told me they had no cavities,and then another dr told me in another office that he had cavities.Do not go to this dentist if you don't want to waste your time and money.
