Dr. Mikes career in dentistry spans 24 years so far. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University before pursuing his doctorate at Texas A&M and the Baylor College of Dentistry. Following his graduation, he moved back to San Antonio and began practicing general dentistry with his father, Dr. Dennis Miller. Originally from San Antonio, Dr. Mike has lived in Boerne for over a decade now. He married his wife Samantha in 1994, and they have three sons together named Luke, Cole, and Rowdy. When he isnt busy at the practice, youll find him doing anything outdoors, including fishing and archery. He also has a special interest in Native American artifacts and spends a lot of time at various sporting activities for his sons, including baseball and football. Dr. Mike has been nominated by his peers as one of San Antonios Best Dentists and has been interviewed by Time Magazine as a San Antonios Top Dentist. He sincerely looks forward to meeting you and your family.
Dr. Millers experience in the dental field spans over half a century, and he still loves coming in to see his wonderful patients! He originally studied at St. Marys University and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He is proud to have worked alongside his son Dr. Michael Miller for over two decades now. Dr. Miller is a San Antonio native and has been married to his wife, Dottie, for over fifty years! Together, they have three grown sons and seven grandchildren. When hes not in the office, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, and bird hunting.
As the newest associate at the practice, theres nothing that Dr. Kelly enjoys more than getting to know his patients and taking care of their needs. During every visit, they can expect him to be dedicated to enhancing their everyday life, both by helping them improve and maintain positive oral health. He decided to become a dentist because he always knew he wanted to help people and has enjoys working with his hands, making the field the perfect option. While he is originally from New Hampshire, Dr. Kelly would go on to complete his undergraduate education at Baylor University, then attend the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to earn his DMD degree. He would then go on to complete a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the NYU Langone Hospital in Waco, TX. Currently, hes a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kelly is happily married to his wife Jennifer, whom he met while at Baylor University. In his spare time, he enjoys doing just about anything that involves being outdoors, including hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. However, you can also find him running and working out at the gym. Him and his wife also look forward to visiting every national park in the U.S.
Front Office Susan has been a member of our dental team for over two decades now, and were happy to have her. She attended both San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio for her education. She loves interacting with patients every day and getting to know them so well through her job. Susan has lived in San Antonio since 1963. She and her husband Jim have two grown sons named James and Matthew and three granddaughters. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and doing handcrafting like quilting, cross-stitching, crochet, and sewing. She once traveled all the way to Mexico City with her Girl Scout troop in high school!
Practice Administrator/Registered Dental Hygienist Samantha is originally from Nowata, Oklahoma, and her career in dentistry spans 24 years. She studied at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!!) before pursuing her bachelors degree in dental hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry. Her favorite part of this job is spending time with such amazing patients! Samantha is married to Dr. Mike, and they have three sons, Luke, Cole and Rowdy. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Scheduling Coordinator/Registered Dental Assistant Katelyns experience in the world of dentistry spans four years so far. She studied at Tarleton State University before attending Concorde Career College for Dental Assisting. She is also trained in nitrous oxide monitoring. She loves working for Dr. Mike, and all of her coworkers and patients feel like family. Katelyn calls San Antonio home, and her family consists of her brother, her sister-in-law, her nephew, and her two dogs. When she has free time outside of the office, she enjoys visiting loved ones, floating down the river, traveling, and watching her nephew grow up. She actually traveled to Amsterdam in 2016 to play as a sports ambassador in basketball. Her team got third place!
Registered Dental Assistant Sandras career in the dental field spans 39 years, with 17 of them right here in our office assisting Dr. Mike. She loves helping people have a great dental experience and seeing her patients smile. Sandra is originally from Houston. She is married and has two children and three grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, cooking and browsing antique shops. She also reunites with 10 of her high school friends every year for 40 years!
Registered Dental Hygienist Kelly has spent most of her life here in San Antonio. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene and her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Concorde College. She has been working in dentistry for a decade now, first joining our practice five years ago. She loves the patients she sees, being able to educate them on great oral hygiene, and the immediate gratification of creating refreshed, sparkling teeth! Kellys family consists of her husband William, her Doberman Josephine Wales, and her Miniature Pinscher, Bambi. Her hobbies include spending time at the lake, and going to car shows with her Corvette. (She is a member of the Texas Corvette Association and the Alamo Area Corvette Club.)
Registered Dental Hygienist Arcadia is a relatively new member of our dental team, but her experience in the dental field spans five years so far. She has experience as a registered dental assistant for an oral surgeon in Corpus Christi, Texas. She then graduated from Coastal Bend College in Beeville with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Originally from Lytle, she moved back to San Antonio to work for Dr. D. Michael Miller, DDS. She enjoys working with patients daily and helping them achieve the confidence to smile! Outside of dentistry, she loves her Malitoo, Theodore, and taking him on adventures. She also enjoys spending time with family, especially her nephews and nieces.
Dental Hygienist Emily studied dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio, and shes been working in the field for six years and counting. She loves forming relationships with patients through her job, as well as spending time with such wonderful coworkers! Emily is from right here in San Antonio. She has a husband named Nick and a young daughter named Leila. Outside of dentistry, she is a big animal lover! She has two Great Danes and a cat for pets, and her dream is having a big dog rescue center in the future. Shes also a huge 49ers fan.
