Dr. Kevin DAndrea joined our team in 2018 and has worked in the dental field since 2016. He loves having the opportunity to help patients by relieving pain, partnering with them to achieve their healthiest smiles, and giving them the care they need to smile with confidence in any situation. He is dedicated to helping all patients and has always wanted to go into a field that allowed working with his hands and providing care to those in need.

Additionally, Dr. DAndrea saw the passion that his father had for the dental profession and for all of his patients. This played a major role in what made him want to be a part of what his father established with the dental office.

After graduating from Notre Dame West Haven High School, Dr. DAndrea completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Providence College. He went on to earn his doctor of dental medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a general practice residency program at the Abington Jefferson Hospital in the Philadelphia suburbs where he was trained in hospital-based dentistry and emergency dental care. Today, he is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. At the Academy, he is working towards earning his fellowship.

Additionally, Dr. DAndrea, along with five other students, planned and participated in a week-long service trip to provide dental care for the people of Grenada who have little to no access to necessary dentistry services. He has also been involved with Mission of Mercy for the past four years, which involves a weekend of providing free dental care to those less fortunate and not capable of accessing care.

Originally from Hamden, Dr. DAndrea enjoys spending time with his close-knit family sharing meals and laughter, especially during Sunday dinner. When hes not spending his free time with family and friends, Dr. DAndrea enjoys watching and playing basketball as well as exercising. One interesting fact about Dr. DAndrea is that he is a leukemia survivor who participates in many fundraising events to help those who find themselves in similar and unfortunate circumstances.

At our practice, we want everyone to be able to smile confidently. Whether its because they know their smile looks great or because they know that their oral health is in good shape, Dr. Brett Pantera is prepared to make that plan a reality. Hes very excited to be joining our team and cannot wait to meet each and every one of his new patients. Dr. Pantera became a dentist for three simple reasons: to help people, relieve pain, and give them the ability to smile confidently. With that said, hes always enjoyed the interdisciplinary nature of the job, mainly because it combines medicine, artistry, and other disciplines that make each day more exciting than the last. He also finds dentistry to be incredibly rewarding as Dr. Pantera is an avid learner. Dentistry is one of the few professions that requires lifelong learning, and we couldnt be happier to hear that from someone whos now at our practice!

Dr. Pantera graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine to earn his DMD degree. Afterward, he attended his general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. There, he was trained in hospital dentistry and emergency dental care. Additionally, he attended multiple continuing education classes dedicated to CADCAM technology and implant restorations. Even after joining the practice, he always looks forward to future opportunities to hone his craft and improve the care he provides to patients. Dr. Pantera is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Pantera always loves spending time with his family and friends. When hes not providing exceptional dental care to the people of Hamden, you can find him listening to his favorite bands performing live, cooking a tasty meal for his loved ones, playing a couple rounds of golf at his favorite course, traveling to new places around the country, and relaxing on the beach.
