A few things about myself - After graduating high school in 1978 from Kingsford, I attended St. Norbert College, graduating in 1982 with a bachelor of science in biology. Then, attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1986, practicing in Kingsford since.
I have been married for 30 years to Maria and have four children. I have been involved with Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club International and many Christian dental mission trips. Continuing dental education has been a primary focus. I enjoy skiing, fishing, camp, cycling, science, most of all, family, and dentistry.
Karen has been a member of D'Amour Dental since May of 1997. She earned her dental hygiene degree at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. Karen and her husband, Chris, are both natives to the area. After college, they moved back to the area where they started a family. They have 2 children, Zach and Lexi, who attend Kingsford schools.
Apart from being a dental hygienist, Karen enjoys both outdoor and indoor activities. She acquired her certification to be an aerobics instructor and currently teaches at a local gym. She also loves biking, cross country, skiing, walking, running, and snowshoeing with her family. All that activity keeps Karen positive, fun, and energetic in the workplace.

Called with an emergency, was not a patient,saw me same day. Staff was excellent, very friendly, and professional. Highly recommend Dr was highly skilled Thank you can't say that enough!

I am very happy with their quality of care. The dental hygienist is professional and friendly. Dr. D'Amour is highly skilled, gentle, and kind. Dental work can be stressful, but I felt safe and fairly calm considering the somewhat invasive nature of the procedure I needed.

Dr D'Amour is great, very knowledgeable, professional and kind. My husband and I have been going to him, and I just took our young daughter there recently too. The entire staff were great with her as well. Highly recommend!

I went in for a gum infection and Dr. D'amour made it a priority even though I did not have a scheduled appointment to get me in that same day! Found the problem, fixed the problem and I could not be happier with the service and staff. I would recommend anyone that wants to be treated for the problem and not try to be sold unneccasary treatments to give Dr. D'amour a call.
