Ruby hails from the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. She is an Alumna of Winston Salem State University, The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Biology at UNC Charlotte. Ruby has instructed and is an active practicing chair-side assistant with experience of 10 plus years. Also, a North Carolina Dental Board Certified Radiology Instructor through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Donna is skilled in the area of patient relations and front of management. She attended her native University of Hawaii at Manoa and has more than 15 years of dental office management experience. She was an instructor for Myers Park School of Dental Assisting for 5 years. She also is an office trained DAI and is proficient with treatment plans, insurance, and certified in Dental Radiology in the state of North Carolina.
Terica is competent in the area of chair assistance and front office administration. She has been in the health field for over 9 plus years, with 6 of those years and counting on practicing as a Dental Assistant. She is certified in Dental Radiology in North Carolina. She is an alum of D.A. Academy of N C. as well as King's College with an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences for Medical Assistance. She is a Charlotte native.
Sarah is a former graduate of the D.A. Academy of NC. She has a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Theology, and Business Management from BAC. She has many years in and background is MH/SA/IDD, which translates well with working closely with individuals or groups. She also is a licensed instructor with American Heart Association for the past 8 years.
Claudia is a former graduate of the D.A. Academy NC in 2016. Is also NC Radiology certified. She has two years of experience in assisting in the chair. Fluent in Spanish in all capacities. She has a great passion, dedication to teaching and helping others succeed in achieving their goals.
Katey currently works in the field for the last 4 years and is the Lead Assistant for her practice. She has completed all hours and courses necessary to reach the DAII status. She has a plethora of experience in general, corporate and private practices. She is also a Native to the area.
Juana is proficient in the area of chairside assisting and front administration of the dental office of over twenty years. She graduated from Americare School of Nursing, in Florida with a Diploma in Expanded Functions of Dental Assisting. Also she is fluent in English and Spanish. She has a great passion, dedication for helping and sharing her knowledge and experience. What she loves to do most is helping others to be successful with their future by reaching their goals.

Amazing Academy for Dental Assistant! I enjoyed every bit of it. The class instructor Ms. Amanda made the experience so much fun. She utilized real life situations while teaching! Definitely prepared you for density!

The school is fast past, but very easy to keep up as long as you're engaging in the course. From the instructors to the clinical(s)/lectures, I enjoyed the 12 weeks at the DA Academy NC, I recommend this program to anyone who is pursing a career in dentistry!

Being in dentistry was never a thought of mine but being apart of this school and having the most amazing instructor ever made me think this was always for me. Ms.Amanda was absolutely amazing and so was everyone else when it came to giving us the best learning experience. They made new information so easy to obtain and understand and I thank them for that. Couldn't be a dental assistant without them.

Instructor Amanda and Ms. Ruby really made the learning experience fun and they were there every step when I needed help with something even after class hours. I couldn't ask for better instructors. For such a fast paced class they made sure we didn't leave at the end of the day until we were comfortable with the material. They really care about their students !

This is the best place to learn EVER if you looking to start a new career in the dental field this is the place to help you from the amazing Teaching staff that explains in detail all the things you need to learn. The hours are super flexible if you work a full time job all I can say is it was the best decision I made.

I currently attend the DA Academy of North Carolina. My last day will be November 2nd and May I just say I have enjoyed myself throughout the whole course. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I love my instructor Ms.Terica, she is so sweet and very helpful. It has been a pleasure to be in this program and to meet these wonderful ladies!

This class was easier than I was expecting g and very straight to the point and informative! Very professional with class schedule and assignments and flexible as well. The teachers were great and very helpful as well! Would definitely recommend this course for anyone who is interested In the Dental Field and is trying to step their foot in. Best part is that it's only 12 WEEKS, which is even better! Class for any person any age :)
