Dr. Cantwell grew up in West Jordan, UT. After graduating from Copper Hills High School and the University of Utah, he attended The Ohio State University Dental School where he received his degree in dental surgery. He returned to Utah to serve the dental needs in a community close to where he grew up. Dr. Cantwell is an active member of both the American Dental Association as well as the Utah Dental Association, and considers it a privilege to not only care for his patients dental needs, but to develop lasting friendships with them. Dr. Cantwell loves to play sports, travel, and spend time with his family when he is away from the office.
Dr. Andrew Cantwell was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. He then attended The Ohio State University for dental school, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) graduating with honors. He strives to make each dental visit low stress and an overall pleasant experience. He understands that for some the dental office brings anxiety and strives to put the patients needs first to allow for a comfortable experience. Dr. Cantwell is dedicated in continuing his studies of the profession to ensure each patient is receiving the best, evidence-based dentistry available. Professional membership includes the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Cantwell is married and recently welcomed their first daughter Reese this past year. Outside of the dental office, he enjoys basketball, snowboarding, golf and being his own film critic.

I absolutely love this dental office!!! Jill is AMAZING!!! My kids love her and the care she gives them. She is always so kind and thoughtful, and knowledgeable. We were devastated when she left for a moment, then were stoked that she came back. She is one of our faves! Alejandra is AWESOME!!! She was helping with my daughter's cleaning recently and my daughter had nothing but great things to say about her. She also helped my son today with some impressions, and she was so helpful. Thank you for being so attentive and helpful. Shannon is so sweet! She helped me get all my stuff updated and was so kind about it all. I had her doing so many things and she was so kind about it and made sure our future appointments were scheduled. Thank you for putting up with me! The entire staff, in the back, has been just fabulous with myself and my family. I love going here and they all make it so much easier and fun to go to the dentist. Especially when you have not had the best experiences finding the right one. All the dentists are fantastic as well, so friendly, so helpful and always there for us when we need them. They love l8stening to feedback too, whether it is good or bad, they hear you and make sure you are heard and follow up as well. I thank you all for being so great and making it the best experience for us!

Nick is my favorite dentist EVER!!!! He is amazing and so polite and honest! His staff is so nice and great to deal with but my favorite is Jill!!! Jill is the most amazing and funniest ever!!! I only get appts when she's there!! Her and Nick work so well together!!!

I've never had a bad experience as Cyprus family dental. I don't trust my teeth to anyone else. Dr. Nick, Jill, and everyone else has always had my best interest in mind, and made my fear of the dentist disappear. I truly don't mind having dental work done now.

Shauna the nurse was AMAZING! She went over and beyond to make my 7 year old feel very comfortable and safe. Dr. Cantwell was also amazing he explained everything that needed to be done so clearly. All the staff there were so kind and professional yet personable. We highly recommend them. Another appt a year later and again they never disappoint! Jill is amazing and so personable! They are so professional STILL highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying the dentist Nick is the very best dentist I have ever had. Not only do I go there, but my husband, parents as well as two of my kids. I also love the dental hygienist. With that being said the front desk lady named Rochelle is never friendly and horrible to work with. I have the very worst dental anxiety and she makes it worse. My parents already found a new dentist due to the front staff. And now it's time I do the same. The ones that answer the calls for the business are just as important as the rest of the staff. It's not a one time thing, she's always rude to work with.

Love this place. They have always made time for me and have always been great to explain everything. I've had two crowns and a extraction and implant. I will continue to to go there for all my dental needs. Absolutely Wonderful all the way around!
