As a pediatric dentist I'm given the rare opportunity to watch young children develop and grow into teens who are healthy, confident, and responsible dental patients. I cannot imagine a more exciting and fulfilling profession. Dr. Shelton
Dr. Kacie Shelton is a board certified pediatric dentist. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Nursing. After working as an oncology nurse for several years at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, she pursued a career in dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Following dental school, Dr. Shelton practiced as a general dentist and then decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry. She completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas School of Dentistry and was Chief Resident during her last year of residency.
While in residency, she received her Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) for her research entitled Bacterial Flora in Cleft Lip and Palate Patients Undergoing Presurgical Nasoalveolar Molding Appliance Therapy. She was awarded the Peabody Award, which is given to the top resident in each class. She received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for her written board score that was in the top three percent of all graduating pediatric dental residents in the nation.
Dr. Shelton is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She continues to advance her education, always striving to offer the latest treatment modalities in order to provide exceptional care to all of her patients.
Dr. Shelton graduated from Tomball High School and is happy to be practicing in the area she calls home. She lives in Cypress with her husband Christopher, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who also practices in the Cypress area. When not in the office, Dr. Shelton enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Very comfortable office for my boys, they love it! VERY Kid friendly and all the staff are amazing! Had teeth pulled for my 6 year old and it was a great experience (considering) and he is not scared of dentist anymore.

We were referred by our family dentist for my 2 year old. I cannot say enough great things about the experience and staff, they are all so sweet. I was so worried about the x-rays and exam because he's so little but they worked their magic and it was a breeze! All the fun toys in the waiting room, my little guy didn't want to leave. We will continue going for all his cleanings.

Great place for kids. This was my sons first dentist experience and they were very welcoming. The dentist and dental hygienist took their time and explained everything clearly to my son before they did it. We both really enjoyed the experience.

Dr. Shelton and her staff made our first experience with our 10 month old such a great and comforting experience! Our daughter's frenectomy procedure was quick, smooth and we are so pleased with the results. Definitely recommend!

They make going to the dentist fun! From the tiny entrance to the toy filled waiting room to the tvs in the exam area. I couldn't get my 5 year old to leave at the end of our appointment. The dr and everyone else were great with him. She also explained everything to me very clearly. They made him feel at ease and explained everything they were doing. I really liked that they spoke directly to him so he would understand how he should take care of his teeth, instead of just telling me. At the end, he got a high five, a healthy lollipop and a toy to take home. He can't wait for his next appointment in 6 months!

Both my daughters have been going to Cypress Pediatric Dentistry for a couple years now and we highly recommend it. The staff is so friendly and they are great with children. The small door at the entry is my daughter's favorite. You know they are the best when your children get excited to go to the dentist. I am also happy they have bilingual staff because my youngest is more fluent in spanish. Overall it is a 5/5 for us.

I can not begin to express how thankful I am for Dr. Kacie Shelton and her entire team! From communicating before our sons appointment, greeting us upon arrival, waiting in their amazing play area, to being completely taken care of while he's getting his teeth checked. Our son has autism and the way the whole team guides him and comforts him to make it an amazing experience for him it's truly something to be grateful!
