I would give six stars if I could. Dr. Mullins and his staff are excellent and caring. Karen is the hygienist I see most commonly, she is wonderful, and everyone I have met there is kind and concerned as well as very knowledgeable and professional. They have gone beyond expectations and I recommend them highly.

Had a fresh start and began new patient visits this week for our family of 5. Out of our family, 2 of us having major anxiety about even going. We have had several dental offices not work out just due to the lack of good bedside manner and lack of empathy especially when it comes down to the anxiety surrounding visits. Our first visit on Monday was great! One of our teenagers had his appointment and the staff was amazing with him. From Mrs. Becky at the front desk to the very end of the appointment with Mrs. Christy, and Dr Mullins. I was extremely impressed by the questions asked on the new patient forms. I felt as if they truly care about the patient, and address any concerns up front, if any at all. My husbands appointment is this morning and he too was very impressed the moment he was greeted when walking in. Even though it's our first week going, and only 2 visits in, I am very hopeful that we may have found our dental "home"

Wow! After a lengthy search, I found my dental clinic! After my evening floss last night, I noticed a chunk of tooth between my cheek and gums. It turned out to be an old filling from Smithfield Dentistry that fell out (part of the reason I left them). Anyway, I pass by their nice looking clinic almost every day on South Church St. and always considered checking them out. The lost filling gave me the motivation and I'm glad I did. My first experience was with the front desk coordinator. She was friendly, efficient, and gave me a positive vibe right off the bat. She booked me a same-day appointment to get the tooth looked at. She emailed me the check-in forms to do online before my appt so it would speed things up. Don''t you just hate the mountain of forms dentists give you to fill out before the appt? This made it easy. After a very minimal wait (maybe 5 minutes), the dental tech came and got me, took me back to the examination room, and immediately got to work getting me ready to see the doc. They don't use that gangly, awkward, xray machine most dentists have. You know, the thing they jam inches from your face and then go hide behind a barrier so they don't get irradiated? No, they have this cool handheld machine that takes literally seconds to get a digital image. Very fast and efficient. Then she was ready for the doc. Dr. Gregory Mullins was very impressive. He asked all the right questions to understand the situation; then, quickly and painlessly diagnosed the problem and instead of saying, "let's get you scheduled for a follow-up appointment to fix this," he shocked me by asking, "shall we get this fixed right now?" That's a first for me and for a guy closing in on 60, that's saying a lot. Anyway, he and his assistant got me fixed up in about 20 minutes after I green-lighted the procedure and that includes the novacaine. They were shockingly fast, professional, and efficient the whole way. No pain. No fuss. No problems or issues. I have found my permanent clinic!

Cypress creek Dental was a wonderful experience for my family. Able to fit our daughter in for the next day because of a call out but we were late because I went to the wrong place but they called after 15 minutes late and were super nice helped get us to the right place and still took us in and treated us wonderfully the Dental Hygienist Karen was absolutely sweet and informative involved our 9 year old in the process and taught her a lot about caring for her own teeth and now she takes more pride in her own dental care because of the great service we got. Building is great The Dentist and front desk all 5 stars across the board best dental experience ever hands down.

I broke a tooth and the next day Dr Mullins had me in at 1:30 and did a temporary crown. He was so gentle I actually fell asleep twice. I adore his staff starting at the front desk all the way to the last one. They are friendly. I'd recommend them to everyone!

I had dental work that had cracked and needed fixing asap. Not only did Cypress Creek squeeze me in the next day, they had me in and out in less than an hour; good as new. The staff was incredibly friendly and Dr. Mullins was gentle and professional. I can't express my gratitude enough for how quickly and how well they took care of me. I almost enjoyed a dental appointment and that's huge. I will be back and will recommend them to anyone who will listen.

I ended up cracking my tooth, I called Cypress creek and spoke with Laura yesterday. Hands down amazing they fit me into their schedule this morning at 830! I was in and out of the office within 45 mins. If there was a way to give 10 stars they would easily have got that. I saw Dr. Mullins, he was very pleasant and really cared and explained things as we went along. From the front office to the technicians in the back everyone was amazing and treated me like I had been coming there for years. Diane at the front desk was so very sweet and helped me understand my dental insurance. Highly recommend them if you dental care.

Hands down the best practice, knew I needed to find a new dentist, but and emergency sent me to Dr.Mullins. Dr.Mullins fixed the emergency, as he got that fixed, not expecting a comprehensive exam during my visit, put me at ease don't worry. Karen & Amy are awesome..Laura at front desk truly an asset to the practice, the dental assistants go above and beyond.

Dr. Terwilliger's practice is the best our family has seen in 35 years of adult life. After our excellent dentist in Suffolk retired and after trying several practices on the penninsula, a friend recommended to Gentle Dentistry of Smithifield. Dr. Terwilliger, Dr. Mullins and the entire staff are first class and have provided our family of five superb care for approximately three years. Highly recommended.

Dr. Terwilliger and staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Terwilliger really cares about your wellbeing before and after treatment. I have had many visits and all were painless. We need more medical professionals like Dr. Terwilliger and her staff.
