Dr. Cynthia Graves cherishes the relationships that she has built with her patients and team. She goes far beyond the required amount of continuing education required by dentists each year so that she can provide our patients with expanded levels of diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Graves is co-founder and co-host of two study clubs in Austin. One club is for digital CAD/CAM dentistry, and the other focuses on airway and sleep. The participants of that study club come from all aspects of healthcare and include one of the countrys leading sleep physicians, oral surgeons, ENT doctors, orthodontists and physical therapists. We advocate for patient health and use our collective experience to improve lives with the focus of the study club centered on what is best for our patients.
Our team has fun working together. We acknowledge that we play a valuable role in making our patients feel relaxed while they are in our care. Each member of our team is gifted with a kind, generous heart, and a desire to provide patients with exceptional care in a warm and friendly manner. When Dr. Graves was in 8th grade, she thought her orthodontist had the best job in the worldhe improved peoples smiles and listened to great music all day. So, after graduating from high school in Round Rock, TX, Dr. Graves went on to earn her BA in biology from UT Austin in 1983 and her DDS at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1987.
Since graduating shes taken three hands-on board exams to become licensed in four different states: Arizona, Missouri, West Virginia and Texas. Her passion for continuing education and keeping up with cutting-edge dentistry has led her to earn her Level II Invisalign Certification, receive postgraduate training in Straight-Wire Orthodontics with Gerety Institute, and become certified as a CEREC Basic Trainer (she trains other dentists).
Ive been a patient of Dr. Graves for 2 years and have never had a negative experience! The office staff and hygienists are super friendly and personable. They remember me when I come in twice a year and seem to really enjoy where they work. The office staff has gone above and beyond to figure out how much a procedure would cost me when I joined my husbands insurance. They even sent me a card when I had my baby!
I had extensive dental work recently. Dr. Graves and her staff were truly the most friendly, attentive and conscientious group I have ever encountered. Thanks to Dr. Graves, I now have the beautiful smile I have always wanted. She is simply the best dentist in Austin.
My wife and I have been patients for a couple of years. Dr. Graves and her staff are excellent! She recently removed and replaced a very old crown for me, the process was the best. I think the front office is quite good also!

My appointment was for a cleaning. My dental hygienist, April, at Dr. Graves' office is probably the best hygienist I've had. Her work is of such quality that I no longer needed nitrous oxide, which I've used for years. She's so personable that I look forward to the next appointment! Dr. Graves has assembled a great staff, including April. They do great work very professionally, while making the client spent very comfortable. Many thanks!!

Dr. Graves and everyone who works there are amazing. They're gentle, compassionate, and very skillful. After some not-great experiences elsewhere, I told Dr. Graves she attended not only to my dental health, but to my psychological health! On top of that, they are very efficient. What took me three separate appointments with another practice was handled in one visit here.

Look no further!! Best dentist I've ever seen. Because of previous experiences/trauma in my youth, I've had trouble with dentists for decades. I've been going to her for 2 years now, and been able to sit without gas or breaking down in tears twice now!! I was never able to do that before. She and her team really helped with my extreme dental anxiety; they're kind, helpful, and the prices are very agreeable.

I had to get 2 molars extracted and I dreaded the procedure. I haven't met a nicer group of staff and Doctors in a long time. I was very anxious during the procedure and when the Dr. told me to breathe instead of holding my breath in anticipation of some gruelling pain I did as I was told. It was over in maybe 5-10 minutes. I wish I could have continued with this group but unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover the work I need done. If you're scared like I was go anyways! They are amazing!

Very very welcoming and and warm. The staff is superb. They do their work efficiently and always describing what they are doing and why. Dr Graves shares her knowledge and insights with the patient. She was recommended to me by a family member and I already called him to thank him for the recommendation.
