Dr. Creech is a native of the South Bay Area and lives in the San Lorenzo Valley. She received a B.S. in Zoology and a B.A. in Botany with a minor in chemistry from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1999. In 2003 Dr. Creech received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. After graduation, Dr. Creech diversified her experience working at several dental offices in the area. During 2005 she worked with the Childrens Dental Health Project in Monterey County, providing dental healthcare and oral hygiene instruction to children from low-income and government assisted families. Dr. Creech took over Dr. Richard Jahns practice in Ben Lomond in 2006.
Dr.Creech believes that dentistry is a field with continual learning opportunities. She takes several continuing education classes every year. She is a member of the Santa Clara and Monterey Dental Societies, as well as a member of the Spears Study Club, an advanced professional dental educational group. Outside the office Dr. Creech enjoys hiking, music, reading, traveling, spending time with her family and friends riding motorcycles and racing sidecars.
Dr. Ma is originally from the Santa Cruz area, returning to his hometown of Scotts Valley after over ten years away pursuing his education and training. Dr. Ma received his B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, his Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University in New Jersey and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Western University of Health Sciences School of Dental Medicine in Southern California. After graduation Dr. Ma began practicing in the Santa Cruz area before coming to join our practice. His interests include reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with his wife Lindsay, son Jameson, and dog Penny.
Amanda is a Registered Dental Hygienist who received her degree from Cabrillo College. She truly loves her job and her passion shows through in her interactions with her patients. Amanda provides thorough yet gentle teeth cleanings to every patient she sees and specializes in providing patient education. Amanda grew up in the Santa Cruz area and has chosen the San Lorenzo Valley to now raise her family.
Ann has been a Registered Dental Assistant for over 18 years, having graduated from Bryman College in 1999. She was born and raised in Ben Lomond. Her considerable experience in the dental field makes her a wonderful addition to our staff. Ann has a gentle touch and compassionate nature that puts our patients at ease. Outside of work Ann enjoys gardening, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
Sharine was born and raised in the Santa Cruz mountains. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends enjoying the outdoors. She has over 20 years in business management and is passionate about the patient experience.

In Park Hall the Mountain Community Theater puts on plays several times a year. Dental Insurance Plans As a courtesy to our patients, we will take care of sending claims to your insurance company for you. We are contracted with the majority of PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) Insurance Plans. We are not contracted with Medicare, MediCal or any HMO plans.
As a contracted provider, or PPO, with an insurance company we have agreed to charge fees based strictly on their fee schedule. Patient portions are based on percentage of insurance coverage, less an annual deductible (if applicable). Most insurance companies have individual plan limitations, frequency limitations and plan annual maximums. New plans may also have waiting periods for certain services. We are happy to call your insurance company and find out the specifics for your plan. Its also a good idea to read through your insurance packet to familiarize yourself with the limitations and benefits of your plan.
As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company but you are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan.
While we make every reasonable effort to give our patients accurate cost estimates before treatment, we remind you that insurance policies are agreements between patients and insurance companies (not doctors and insurance companies).
Cash Patients (Those Without Insurance) We have many patients who do not have dental insurance coverage. We are able to offer a 10% discount to cash patients for paying the complete balance the same day as treatment.
Dental Discount Plans Dr. Creech is also contracted with several dental discount plans. As such, we are able to offer the same lower contracted fees to our patients as though they had insurance coverage. With these plans there is no insurance billing, and patients pay on the date of service as a cash patient. Aetna, First Dental Health, Cigna and CareingtonCare are all discount plans we accept.
Veterans Dr. Creech is proud to serve the needs of our Veterans. The Department of Veterans Affairs does not have the capacity to provide timely care for all of the Veterans who apply for dental care benefits. Dr. Creech has worked with the VA to supplement the needs of our Vets by offering excellent, professional dentistry and comprehensive treatment plans, which are pre-authorized by the VA. Contact the VA to see if you qualify for dental care through a private provider.
