Dr. Cuthrell received his undergraduate and D.D.S. degrees from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he proudly competed on the track and field team. After receiving his D.D.S. degree, Dr. Cuthrell served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for three years.
He has worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the UNC School of Dentistry and has studied at the L.D. Pankey Institute. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
When not treating patients, Dr. Cuthrell enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and makes the trip to Chapel Hill as time permits to cheer on his beloved Tar Heels. He continues to be an avid runner and enjoys softball and basketball in his spare time. Always greeting his patients with a smile, youll find out for yourself that Dr. Cuthrell has his patients best smiles at heart.
Dr. Mochnick, a Winston-Salem native, received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences/Chemistry from Southern Illinois University in 2000 and his D.M.D. degree from the SIU-School of Dental Medicine. While at SIU, Dr. Mochnick was awarded membership into the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society for academic excellence and was recognized for numerous scholastic achievements.
Upon licensure in 2004, Dr. Mochnick returned to North Carolina bringing his dental expertise back to his roots. In addition to general practice, he continues to pursue training in a variety of specialties, focusing primarily on advancements in cosmetic dentistry and implantology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and is an active affiliate of the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance. In 2016, he was recognized by the National Consumer Advisory Board as one of the nations leading dentists.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mochnick enjoys spending time with his wife and children, golfing with colleagues and friends, volunteering in the community, and is an active member at Clemmons Moravian Church. His friendly, outgoing personality combines an honest and genuine care for his patients dental health and overall well-being with a meticulous dedication to his craft.

Dr. Cuthrell is by far the BEST dentist I have ever seen. I used to have major anxiety with any dental visit, until I went to this practice (now have gone there about 15 yrs). My children enjoy going to the dentist as well. His staff are all so friendly and professional-and his hygienists are super gentle! If I could give a higher recommendation than 5 stars, I would! A+

This office is absolutely awesome, the staff genuinely care for their patients. I have been a patient for over 10 years and never left displeased with the service they have provided. Dr. Cuthrell and Dr Mochnick are wonderful, their work is remarkable. I Love this practice.

I visited Dr. Mochnick's office about a week ago. I am really anxious when visiting a dentist, but I had no choice due to a broken tooth. Dr. Mochnick and his assistant immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. This was truly the first time that I have ever felt at ease at a dentist's office, and I was tremendously relieved. Dr. Mochnick's work is also impeccable. He is not only a very knowledgeable dentist, but also an artist. My tooth looks as if it never had any problem. I never write reviews, but I wanted to share this with others, especially people who are afraid of having dental work.

Dr. Mochnick was recommended by my daughter and after my visit for an overall dental plan I was very impressed with the efficiency and kindness of all the staff I met, especially Dr. Mochnick, Lela and Cynthia. I left this first visit pleased and very impressed. I am looking forward to the treatment I will receive.

Warning to others who might be concerned for their health related to Covid-19: despite the federal guidelines stating that all medical facilities should still abide by masking, I walked in today to find patients and staff all unmasked in a small stuffy waiting area. Receptionists were defensive and unkind when I asked about their policies. Dr. Cuthrell was nice and told me staff would mask if I wanted them to, but this all felt a little too late, after standing in their waiting room for awhile. If they really cared about a baseline of safety for their customers (including those who might be immune-compromised), they would keep this very basic guideline for health and hygiene in place. This is not about politics, it's about a healthy environment for the most vulnerable. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Both of my teens go to Dr. Cuthrell. It brings such peace of mind to go to a comfortable, clean, easy to access office with experts who treat you like family. when your teen is comfortable and talked to like an adult about their dental health, I think they are much more likely to continue this important habit into adulthood. I HATE to go to the dentist....at least I did until I found Dr Mochnick. My husband was the original patient, referred by the VA. He was replacing an entire set of bad dentures and had an amazing experience. I had been fighting with a bad/old crown for years but decided, after my husband's visits, to make an appointment. From the first impression the staff was amazingly friendly and professional. Dr Mochnick quickly evaluated my problem, removed the bad crown and put a temporary in within an hour. He didn't try to "sell me" on doing other work but rather took care of my concern. Love love love this group
