I grew up in small town Oklahomathe kind of town where gossip spreads like wildfire and everyone knew your name... including the dentist. As a kid, I never feared the dentist; in fact, I enjoyed visiting with him every six months. He was a good man with strong family values and a gentle nature. He had the uncanny ability to put his patients at ease the moment they walked into the office, whether they were there for a routine cleaning or a root canal. He not only treated his patients like longtime friends, but he provided them with high quality, custom dental care. He didn't know it at the time, but he was my mentor.
Because of him, I always knew I wanted to be a dentist, but it took me a while to find my way. I started college before I was ready; I didnt feel like I was grown-up enough, or had enough life experience, to decide what I was going to do for the rest of my days. I decided to hit the real world for a few years - I dabbled in sales, I waited tables, I drove cross-country in an 18-wheeler, and I even worked for a tree service before I decided, its time to stop messing around. No matter what I was doing, my heart was set on dentistry - and it couldnt be swayed. So I did what I should have done in the first place; I got back in school, finished my degree, earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and started my own practice.
In many ways, the few years I spent beating around the bush have greatly benefited my dental career. Im able to pull from all those life experiences and apply them to my practice. Im able to connect with many of my patients in a multitude of different ways. After all, great dentistry isnt just about the fillings and drillings; its about the people. Like my hometown dentist, Ive made it my goal to relate to each and every one of my patientsto put them at ease while providing them with the best possible dentistry I can.
My staff and I love it when a patient feels comfortable enough to open, not only their mouth, but their heart and soul. Were not here to judge; were here to help. We understand that many of you have had a bad experience in the past and now youre scared, uncomfortable, or self-conscious. Well, we dont care about your past. We care about your present and your future. And if were lucky, we'll be a part of it.

My job as a dental assistant is to tend to my patients needs, assist with infection control and assist the doctor with all dental procedures. I started working at Custom Dental of Newcastle in July 2020.
When Im not at Custom Dental, I can be found at the gym, riding horses, or my motorcycle. I frequently disappear to the mountains. Im an early riser and love breakfast food. Coffee is my love language. I have an eight-year-old German shepherd Abilene, and Im currently continuing my education in dental hygiene!
I began my career in 2010 as a dental assistant, and furthered my education in 2013. I hold a Bachelor of Nutritional Science degree in Allied Health, as well as a Bachelor of Dental Hygiene degree, from Oklahoma State University. My role here at Custom Dental involves providing dental cleanings and education to prevent oral diseases.
Hands down, the best part of my job is the patients and being able to help them regain confidence in their smile. There is no better feeling when someone comes back in six months with a whole new outlook on their oral health.
I have been married to Peyton for almost four years and am the proud momma of our seven-year-old boxer, Asher. I spend my free time doing things affiliated with my side business (Bellame) selling luxury beauty products or partaking in any kind of workout class: cycling, HIIT, yoga, and barre to name a few. We love to travel any chance we get. In fact, it is my goal to go to every state in the US!
I attended the Custom Dentals assisting school in 2015 and joined CD Newcastle shortly after graduating. I assist Dr. Jones with all aspects of our patients care and do my best to ensure their comfort. The best part of my job is giving so many people new, healthier, more beautiful smiles! At CD Newcastle, we are not just a team, but a work family as well!
I graduated in 2011 from Choctaw High School in Choctaw, OK. I met my husband Derek in 2013 and we were married in 2017. Our family also includes two cats and three dogs. I enjoy being outdoors, from noodling and fishing, to hunting. I am a very family oriented; I truly enjoy spending quality time with my family.
I began my career as a dental assistant more than 20 years ago, and for the past 16 years, Ive been working in the administrative side of dentistry. By providing excellent customer service, case presentation, and financial coordination, my goal is to help a patient achieve a dental goal that they thought may have not been attainable.
Ive been proud to be a part of the Custom Dental team since 2017, working for people who genuinely want us to treat every patient like they are family. I absolutely love this group because of their honesty, commitment, and continued evolutionthat is irreplaceable! I dont even mind the commute!
I have been married to my best friend Larry for a long time! He has blessed me with seven beautiful children, Larry Jr., Eric, Devin, Thalia, Thayia, Thamia, and my biggest surprise of them all Jameson, as well as seven grandchildren. My hobbies include spending as much time with my family as possible. I tell my family tomorrow is not a promise so be a kind human today and share your blessings!

Staff is friendly, but dentist is completely lacking empathy and bedside manner. I had a tooth pulled, experienced extreme pain, and large quantities of blood loss a couple of days after the extraction. They do not have an emergency line on the weekends, found this out after calling and leaving a message, so I suffered all weekend with no follow-up call. I called them Monday morning to make an appointment, the staff worked me in for 1pm didn't get seen until 1:40. The dentists professionalism is completely absent and he will openingly mock and belittle patients. He has no desire to help a patient through a dental procedure.

FOR PARENTS OF VAIN CHILDREN When the good doc is working on my kiddo, I pay close attention. His every effort is to make things safe and comfortable. He works quickly without cutting corners. I really appreciate the care that goes along with his skill. He and his attentive team repaired my kid's chipped 2 front teeth today with such precision that I couldn't see a flaw from a couple feet away. His attention to detail was excellent, and the color match could not be better. My 14 year old told me her front teeth look better now than before the incident. that's a lot of attitude change from when we walked in...back when the world was ending Dr. Jones finished his work and then hung out to answer all my kid's questions in language she could grasp. Wish I had more than two thumbs, but here they are. This office uses new, comfortable technology in all aspects of patient care and repair. The xrays are virtually painless...done right in your chair unless they are full-mouth pictures. For those, you simply stand in front of a machine that moves around your face. His nurses and hygienists are very knowledgeable and have always taken good care of us. I don't know if they're all family but they usually act like it. The office is clean, bright, and very well temperature controlled (cool and comfortable). They serve all ages here. Parking is great with spots wide enough for pickups. One of my favorite services provided here is the reminder call/text/email a week before and the day before appointments. This really helps me as I tend to be a busy body. They also send out forms via text so you can register from your phone before you even leave your house. It takes less than 5 minutes after you're in the system.

Highly do not recommend this place! Do not go here unless you want more problems then what you initially arrived for. They are always overbooked and seem to be running behind causing for wait times to be longer than normal. Chipped 2 of my teeth from there sloppy pulling and refuse to fix there mistake! A disgrace!

Very friendly staff but not a good experience with the doctor. He did a filling and wisdom teeth pull on our 16yo daughter. They didn't put her to sleep for the extraction and only gave her ibuprofen for the pain after. During the filling she was trying to say something after he finished the doctor sat her up and told her she didn't have to try so hard to get everyone's attention; they are all focused on her already and that she only needed to raise her arm if she was feeling pain. He has no idea the life experiences my daughter has already experienced at 16, let alone she's on anxiety and antidepressants meds. A little understanding and compassion goes a long way. We won't be back and can't recommend. Reminds me of an experience my older daughter had with a different dentist that dislocated her jaw while having some work done and when she tried to say something he told her he would have to start over if he stopped now so she let him finish, she has to be put to sleep now when she goes to the dentist because her anxiety. I would've told him to get his hands off me and I'd be going someplace else. And that's what we will be doing in this situation.

Hands down the best dentist office ive ever been to! I went in today to have a tooth pulled and couldn't of had a better experience. Every member of the staff was kind and made me feel at home. Very clean and welcoming environment. Dr. Jones and his assistant were awesome. They took the time to explain all my options and when it came down to taking the tooth out they made sure i was as comfortable as i could be in that situation lol. Will definitely be the whole families new dentist.

Took my kids here because they were highly recommended. Those who recommended them were not wrong. Extremely nice staff and the place looks great inside. My kids loved their new dentist as well which is usually never the case. Glad I found a local place we all like.
