Dr. Nathan Brown was born and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma. While attending high school in Guthrie, he was a member of the 1998 State Championship golf team and his senior year named to the Oklahoma All-State team. Graduating as Valedictorian of his class, he also received a scholarship to play golf at East Central University. While at ECU, he was a two-time All American in golf, graduated with Honors, received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and was accepted into the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. In 2008, he returned to Guthrie and has practiced there ever since.
Recently, he was named Young Dentist Alumni of the year by the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and was also inducted into the Guthrie Sports Hall of Fame. Currently, Dr. Brown is the President of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry Alumni Association and on the Board of J. Dean Robertson Society at the dental school.
In the community, Dr. Brown has done a multitude of community work from food pantries, Kiwanis, mentoring/sponsoring the Guthrie golf teams, tennis team, football team, basketball team, and sponsoring FFA and 4H. In dentistry, he has also been spotlighted on Channel 4 multiple times for Free Dental Days across the state, hosting the multiple free dental days in Guthrie, Mommy Makeovers, Extreme Makeover, and every year is involved in giving back free dental care at the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy.
The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry dedicated a wing of the Dental School to Dr. Nate Brown, Dr. Matthew Hookom and Dr. Kelly Brown. Thank you OU College of Dentistry for honoring Dr. Brown and his family for their commitment, selflessness, and devotion to our future dentists of Oklahoma.

Custom Dental has been nothing short of amazing! Friendly staff with smiling faces! As a Dental student they've always been helpful and knowledgeable to make my experience worth while! So glad I choose such a wonderful place to start my dental career!!

The BEST place to go! I'd been to another place in Guthrie and it was not a good experience. The staff at Custom Dental are super friendly and he addressed all of my teeth issues without making me feel bad that I hadn't had them cleaned in awhile. I would definitely recommend this place.

I am from out of state, I was in town for a week and had a tooth accident. They made an appointment for me quickly so I was able to get the issue resolved in a timely manner. Everyone in the office was extremely nice and helpful as they explained to me costs and insurance claims. Everyone was very patient and kind to me throughout my visit. I even got a follow up call to check on how I was feeling! Highly recommend this dental team!

I had gone to the same dentist for 25 years in Texas and was nervous about finding someone in Okla whom I could trust and feel comfortable with. We live in Edmond, but my husband found Custom Dental in Guthrie and went for an initial visit. He was impressed and thought I would like them too. I agreed wholeheartedly after my first visit, and my satisfaction level has grown over the 4 years we have been going there. The entire staff is SO friendly and it is evident they all love their jobs and their boss. Dr Brown is personable and professional, and he always takes time to explain procedures and answer questions. A special shout-out to my hygienist Kristin - she is AWESOME! Thank you, Custom Dental, for making dental visits enjoyable.

The best dentists office I've ever been to. I've been to many around okc and they're usually in and out,rough,and don't care about the patients or their problems. Dr Nathan brown is top notch and all of the girls in the back are genuinely the best,friendliest,and truly caring people I've had the pleasure to care for me! Namely Tracy, and Betty who I see regularly but everyone there has been no less than great to me! I appreciate you all and I'll see you again in three months, possibly less if I drink enough soda between now and then,~Zack

Great experience with professional employees that are willing to go above & beyond for their patients! We have been going here for years and this is also where I take my kids.
