Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

The doctor and hygienist both were very rough with my teeth. I went there for regular cleaning and check up and came back with soar gums and sensitive teeth. I went in the morning and had to take Tylenol before going to sleep to ease the pain. The front office aren't that competent either. Wanted to change my husband's appointment to a different date. They told me my husband didn't even have an appointment. Although I called just the day before my visit and made the appointment. I guess it's good that we changed it. Otherwise he would just show up there only to find it was a waste of time. They did the same thing with my child's visit. We went there only to find that my child was not even scheduled that day although we made an appointment just a few days before the visit. Very disappointed!

Should be 0 stars. They are disorganized, rude, and so unprofessional. Worst experience ever. We will not be going back.

I had rough time getting pain meds for my surgery. The Dentist office delayed charging the insurance company. The insurance company and the Dentist office had a billing issue then the Dentist office turned me to a collection agency. (I have paid my portion of the charges before they did the work). Very sad to know that they don't care about running your credit because of their mistake.

I really give 0 stars if I could. Starting with the place very outdated and the hygienic not looks good. I choose to go as my new insurance was not accepted in my previous dentist and was the worse decision I ever made. As soon as I get the X-Rays the dentist start telling that I have to get preventive treatment to charge a lot more $$ and I decided not to do it that day and the refuse to do my cleaning witch is the first time ever that this uncomfortable situation happens to me. The receptionist was very rude talking non sense thing like "this is why the dentist study, to have that business" is a ripoff business and they are not to serve they are to charge for unnecessary "treatment" just to get your money. I will file a claim with the insurance because this is unacceptable. Stay away for this place same thing that happened to me happen to other if you keep reading the reviews.

I saw Dr. Kha recently for some dental work. I have somewhat rare medical conditions that require special care with anesthesia and she was very responsive in listening to me and my needs. I felt very heard. I've been very pleased the two times I've been there and plan to continue to use this office. My husband is convinced and plans to see Dr. Kha for a checkup and also get a cleaning from the hygienist very soon.

They are very misleading. They say yes to everything on the phone and drag you in only to charge you for 20 additional things you don't want or need. My husband only wanted a cleaning and was told he had to get all of these completely unnecessary things he did not want or need and they said they don't do only cleanings because the insurance covers that but the extra stuff is out of pocket and they wanted us to spend more money. They don't care about what the patient needs or wants they care about how much extra money they can get from you. The service is horrible and the hygienist was very unfriendly and rude.

Zero stars! They don't care about what you want or need they just want to make money! Went in for a general cleaning left frustrated with a $2,000 quote of all these unnecessary procedures I don't want or need! Plus the hygienist is very rude and unprofessional and so are the office ladies.

It will be more accurate if I can give this company ZERO stars. We took our 9-year-old son here this past Saturday for his 6-month cleaning. I found this place after the dental office he's been seeing for the past 9 years no longer accepted our new insurance. Our son has great cleanings and have never had a cavity. The very first visit with this place, the dentist, Dr. Reema Patel told my husband that our son may need braces soon. This was very alarming since physically looking at his teeth you cannot tell that, and they NEVER showed my husband the X-rays that they took to clarify why they said this. The previous dental group that my son seen since he had teeth never told us that he may need braces. I tried to call Custer Star Dental Group back to get more clarification about the braces issue and no one ever returned our phone calls. So I took it upon myself the contact his previous dentist office and made an appointment and I paid out of pocket to get a second opinion and of course, they told me at this time, there is absolutely no indication that our son will need braces. In addition, not all of his permanent teeth are in and until that time, it will be hard to access if he needs braces, They did refer me to an orthodontist if I wanted to get more information. Custer Star Dental never mentioned an orthodontist to us. We will no longer use Custer Star Dental. Even when I tried to call to cancel my son's upcoming July appointment, you can never get through to anyone. I wish I would have paid attention to the other reviews that were posted that talked about folks being overcharged for services. Seems like Custer Star Dental's overall goal is to get people to pay for things that they do not need at all. If you want a great pediatric dental office, I recommend Texas Pediatric Dentistry. Also, Texas Pediatric Dentistry spent an entire day trying to contact Custer Star Denal to get the X-rays they performed on Saturday for my son, and they never sent them over. They probably didn't even do X-rays.

I had a tooth extracted on September 28th and they overcharged me $382. They have refused to refund the money and are playing games with the refund process. I was told initially it would be refunded to my credit card when they received the payment from the insurance in 10 days. Now Felicia is saying it will take 60 to 90 days to mail me a check and lied about the office manager not being available even though she just talked to her 2 minutes earlier. Stay as far away from these crooked thieves and save yourself a headache!!
