Steve J. Kim, D.D.S. is a General, Cosmetic, and Implant Dentist. With his gentle touch and easygoing personality, Dr. Kim prides himself in making his patients comfortable in the dental chair, while providing quality care.
Dr. Kim was born in Seoul, Korea, and came to Texas as a graduate student in 2000. He completed his Masters degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California.
A strong believer in continuing education, Dr. Kim keeps up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the highest quality of care for his patients. He attends countless advanced education courses and study clubs nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kim lives in Frisco with his awesome wife, Cate, and their adorable twin daughters Ellyn and Irene. Aside from being your dentist, he enjoys playing golf, listening to music, and reading. He is always looking for the next great meal to try in the DFW area.

Very friendly check-in, pleasant office and great doctor/hygienist. Mouth wasn't sore or tender afterwards even though it's been a while since going to any dentist. Great experience and I will go back.

Custer Creek Dental is Fantastic! The staff is the nicest, most welcoming, staff ever. They are always so kind and helpful. Dr. Kim is an awesome dentist! He's careful with his procedures and takes a personal approach to my appointment every time. They even fit me in on two days notice to get a bad tooth fixed before I went out of the country. I'm a customer for life! Thank you, Dr.Kim and the Custer Creek Dental staff!!!

Dr. Kim and his team are all incredibly pleasant individuals. As I had a problematic tooth, he made sure I was okay during my cleaning. Then he conducted an amazing root canal and repaired the tooth! Thank you Custer Creek Dental, I can use the left side of my mouth again!

By far my best experience with a dentist. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They talked me through everything they were doing and often checked to make sure I was comfortable. The office is also beautiful and child friendly. They had toys available for my toddler to play with and put on a show for her to watch.

I had some cavities filled , no pain ! So glad I found Dr Kim's office . The Very Best Dentist I have ever been to . After 50 years of Dental repair for me the experience was the Best !!

Wow, Great service! Office staff were so helpful in figuring out our discount plan. Now on Medicare, don't have dental insurance, but bought into a dental discount plan. Dr. Kim was awesome, took time to explain everything they do. Very impressed.

My experience at Custard Creek Dental Care of McKinney was phenomenal. I visited their office last Saturday with a broken tooth and it was cutting into my tongue. Beginning with the reception desk, professional and courteous and Dr. Kim readily relieved my pain by filing the broken tooth to a smooth surface and scheduled me an appointment for a crown. I visited custer creek dental care with mother-in-law and my brother-in-law for the cleaning. The inside of the office was beautiful and clean, and all the staff were friendly. For patients who do not speak English, the doctor tookcare of that. So my mother-in-law was very satisfied and comfortable and she was so happy. Once again, I want to say thank you to Dr. Kim and the staff.

I went to Custer Creek this past Saturday for my first dental appointment in 2 years. Not only is it extremely convenient to have the option to go to the dentist on a Saturday but I felt welcomed by the staff as soon as I walked through the door. The vibrant colors throughout the office makes it feel more comfortable for patients like myself that may feel a little anxious going to the dentist. Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable and takes the time to educate you on the importance of dental hygiene. I also enjoyed his PowerPoint before the cleaning! Seriously do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Custer Creek! You won't regret it!
