Dr. Judd grew up in Mesa, AZ. He has an undergrad degree from Brigham Young University, a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and a Masters of Science in Dentistry from the University of Colorado. When he isnt working, you can find him mountain biking, backpacking, watching sports, and spending time with his family. Dr. Judd and his wife Tina, have 8 kids.

Dr Curtis and his team are a dream! The last year my son has been in braces has been a breeze. My son never complained about attending his check up, the staff was always so kind and informative about what was expected and needed for my sons braces! You can tell the staff loves where they work because it rubs off on their patients! Thank you so much for everything! So so grateful for everyones time and talents!

It was so much better when it was just Dr.Tipton the doctor now are just not as friendly but it still isn't "bad".

We have had a good experience with Dr. Tipton in the past. However, we were disappointed today. We had an appointment at the Tipton/Curtis Gilbert location. Upon arrival we noticed that one of the two receptionists was not wearing a mask. (it was around her neck) Please wear a mask at all times if there are patients in the building!

Dr Tipton has treated our family's orthodontic needs for over 20 years. He is professional and personable. His staff is warm and helpful. After taking all 4 of my sons to Dr Tipton for braces, I decided to have him put braces on my teeth as well! Best orthodontic care in town! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Please note that Dr Tipton is offering gift cards for reviews. Therefore, you are not getting a true idea of Dr Tipton or the quality of care he provides. Unfortunately, I have trusted these positive reviews and choose him for my orthodontic treatment. Prior to signing the contract, I was told that the fee includes everything, including retainers. However, when there were negative outcomes caused by poor quality of orthodontic work, I was asked to pay for costly follow-up treatments. Despite paying extra on top the initially presented fee, the orthodontic work has been below par - to day the least. He even messed up my teeth when doing a standard orthodontic work such as removing the residual adhesive to restore a smooth and aesthetic surface. Now all my teeth have visible scratches and marks on the enamel. Don't make the same mistake I did. Ask family and friends for referral before choosing an orthodontist. UPDATE: Dr Tipton responded to my review in an attempt to try to blame his bad orthodontic work being cased by my alleged dental issues. He also downplayed the deep scratches and marks caused while removing the braces. The polish to remove these scratches made it even worse, as the scratches were so deep that he almost thinned the teeth. As mentioned in one of his patient's review, when you try to change to a different orthodontist due to his poor work, he refuses to refund the pro-rata amount. Dr Tipton and the staff give you the impression that they care, but when they almost max out your insurance coverage, which they accomplish in a short time due to unnecessary work, the care and treatment is reduced to the bare minimum. As the other patient review mentioned, Dr Tipton will not even have time for a 15 minute appointment to address concerns.
