Curtis E. McRae, D.D.S. has been providing exceptional dental care to his patients in the North San Diego County community of Oceanside for over20 years. Dr. McRae began his dental career as a dental technician for five years after graduating from the Dental Technology Program at Orange Coast College.
Currently Dr. McRae maintains membership in good standing in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, North County Implant Study Group, California Center for Advanced Dental Studies, San Diego Cerec Study group and the Trojan Horse Study Group.
To stay current with dental health information and clinical techniques, he and his staff attend annual post-doctorate educational courses to provide their patients with the best oral healthcare possible.
Dr. Small grew up locally in Encinitas and has always loved North County. He graduated from La Costa Canyon High School, and was recruited to play Division 1 lacrosse at Villanova University. Studying there he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. After graduation he began to pursue his passion for dentistry at Chapman University, in their pre-health professions program. Dr. Small matriculated from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
I truly believe in building strong, trusting relationships with patients and I strive to provide the best possible care for their health and well-being. This is my home and I love this community. My goal is to help and educate patients about their oral health to improve their lives.
Ana Bautista joined the dental field in 2015. She graduated from Palomar College in December of 2015. Offering the best service to patients motivates her to be apart of the dental field long term. Ana joined our team in April 2016, and has quickly jumped in as a key team member. She enjoys helping patients schedule and understanding their insurance. When not in the office Ana enjoys going hiking, browsing pinterest and spending time with her husband,three daughters Danielle, Alessandra and Julianna and her dog 'Zoey'.
Wendy graduated SDSU in 1996 with a bachelor degree in Physical Education with emphasis in Physical Therapy. She then attended USC and earned a bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene in 1999. At USC, Wendy earned the Cora Ueland award for academic excellence. Upon Graduation, she worked as an instructor on the clinical floor in the USC dental hygiene program. Before joining our office in 2002, Wendy worked in Pediatric and Periodontal specialty offices in the Los Angeles area.
This knowledgeable, kind and compassionate woman adds warmth to our team, helping us to give you the best care possible. Wendy and her husband have 2 children and a dog. They love spending their family time at the beach, riding bikes and traveling. In her free time, Wendy is an active volunteer in her children's school and sports. She loves to cook and always enjoys a good book.
Jenny graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 with a bachelors degree in nutrition. She then went to Concord College, where she graduatedfrom their dental hygiene program in February 2018. Jenny is an absolutenatural and patients are loving her gentle touch and caring attitude. When not cleaning teeth, Jenny enjoys snowboarding, hiking, pilates, and wakesports.
Renee attended Merced Community College and University of California East Bay. She swam and played water polo competitively and graduated with a degree in Biology. She later graduated from Fresno City College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is an active participant in the American Dental Hygienist's Association.Renee has over 30 years experience as a hygienist; she has worked in both small and large practices. She has really enjoyed her career and has mentioned many times that her best years are those spent with Dr McRae and his staff. Her goal is for every patient to have a positive and comfortable experience. Renee's philosophy is to be gentle and thorough and believes in taking the time to educate and personalize the time spent with her patients.Outside the office, Renee enjoys competing in triathlons and running races raising money for meaningful charities. She also plays guitar and is active in her church. Most importantly she loves spending time with her friends, extended family, and her 3 grown children; Vanessa, Garrett, and Aaron.
Aimee has been working in the dental field since 2016. She graduated from the registered dental assisting program at Palomar College. Aimee is very passionate about dentistry and is committed to providing the very best care for her patients. When not working she enjoys camping, hiking, going to comedy shows and spending time with her family.
Jinny feels truly blessed to have been in the dental field for 21 years. Recently moving from the Las Vegas area we are extremely lucky she chose to join our team. Jinny has incredible knowledge in dentistry and truly cares for patients. She considers herself to be outdoorsy loves to mountain bike, hike, camp, ski and paddle board.
