Dr. Lisa Curry is originally from Connecticut and came to Virginia to earn her undergraduate degree at Hampton University in Hampton Virginia. She graduated from the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine in 1997. She completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Hampton Virginia. In addition, she is an Alumna of the Dawson Academy where she received training in treating TMJ disorders. Dr. Curry has also earned a fellowship with the International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Curry is committed to serving her community. She has provided free dental screenings for Williamsburg James City County Head Start Students since 2008. She routinely donates to local charities and non-profit organizations such as Avalon, Fish, Latisha's House, From His Hands, Community of Faith Mission, and Heart for Orphans.
Clarence is a native of Pittsburgh PA. He graduated from Hampton University where he majored in English. Clarence worked in finance, sales, and was also an educator. He helped Dr. Curry launch and manage Curry Dental Center since its opening in 2003. Clarence enjoys providing patients with stellar customer service. He specializes in helping patients discover how to afford the dental care they need and deserve. He and Dr. Curry reside in Williamsburg and have two daughters.

I love it here! Literally the best dentist I've ever been to hands down! I can't recommend Dr. Curry enough. Her office is very modern (they even take Apple Pay), her staff is very friendly and informative, and Dr. Curry is the nicest person and takes her time to explain everything and answer all my questions. They made me feel right at home, and I'm actually looking forward to my next visit. Don't waste time looking for another dentist, Dr. Curry is the one!

Dr. Curry and the entire staff at the dental practice yet again get a 10 out of a 10. Had work done on my teeth and had no pain. They were comforting throughout my procedure. Do not go to this practice. The cleanings are fine, but they do not communicate with insurance very well. Furthermore, when my wife needed additional work done, they misled us about whether our insurance would cover a cavity filling. We could have purchased additional insurance if they had communicated with us in advance like we tried to do. Then, they didn't even fill in her cavity correctly, and then failed to fix it, so we are seeing another dentist who is fixing what they did.

With the new procedures for Dental exams, it went very well. Dr. Curry has taken appropriate safety measures for her patients and her staff. So there should be little worry about your health concerns.

I really enjoy going to Dr. Curry for dental appointments. She and her staff are very kind, pleasant, and gentle (they are by far the most gentle dentist practice I have ever been to). I highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist in the Williamsburg area.
