Dr. Kaleb Thompson is a very impressive dentist who is coming from an excellent program that allowed him to perform complex procedures. He has experience with CAD/CAM, root canals, dental extractions, implants, dentures, pediatric patients and more. He hopes to utilize these skills here in his Moyock office as well as his Elizabeth City dental practice. Dr. Thompson brings a variety of talents, including speaking fluent Spanish and owning a successful business for the past several years.

Dr. Ricky Gray received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University where he met and married his wife, Brittany. He remained at Ohio State to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery, graduating with the highest academic honors.. While at Ohio State he received additional advanced training in oral surgery and pediatric dentistry which he enjoys incorporating as a part of his daily efforts to serve his patients.
Drawn to the hometown feel of our community, Dr. Grays professional ambition is to deliver comfortable, convenient, and kind dental care to the Eastern Carolina area and beyond. Combining clinical excellence with compassionate care is just one of many reasons he feels right at home with our team.
Though his favorite hobby is spending time with his growing family, Dr. Gray will tell anyone that baseball was his first love. Growing up turning wrenches on old cars with his dad, he still likes to tinker today, and hell do whatever it takes to keep the family cars on the road.

I've been going here for a few months now and can confidently say that the staff and Doctor Gray are amazing and compassionate people, especially the Dr. He will make sure you're comfortable every step of the way and will check up on you throughout your procedure to make sure you're not in any pain. Everyone that works here is lovely and I definitely recommend going.

Molly and Dr. Gray are wonderful people. As soon as I walked it I was greeted by the receptionist and was treating very kindly. During full mouth radiographs Molly was always making sure I was conforable and kept a great conversation going. Dr. Gray came in a did an exam and talked me through everything and was very sweet. Would 100% recommend.

This dental office was amazing! The hygienist and Dr. Gray were both kind and let me know every step of the way what was happening with my cleaning and exam. I will definitely be returning and recommending Currituck Dental to my family and friends.

Honestly, the only dentist that seems to be conscious that he's working in a human being's mouth and doesn't just go in there with a jackhammer. Dr. Gray is gentle, attentive, and precise. The staff is top notch, and always helpful. I feel comfortable in the dentist chair, and would recommend this place to anyone.

My sons and I just had our check-ups/ cleaning. Everyone was very friendly and the whole office was clean. They made us feel very comfortable and dad Amy amazing job. For the first time in a long time I'm not dreading my next appointment.

At Currituck Dental today for a crown. Wonderful experience! All of the staff are so nice, the hygienists are very thorough and Dr Gray is terrific. I have always had difficulty with local anesthetic not fully working and I would experience breakthrough pain. Not with Dr Gray! He was so patient and waited until the medication fully set up and injected a little more. Not one pain! Thank you so much!

My kids love going to Dr. Gray, and we've had nothing but pleasant experiences. The staff is great, and the dental hygienist (John) is really good at easing the anxiety associated with going to the dentist. Would definitely recommend!

I suffer from gingivitis and I've had cleanings and fillings done here, and I've always had a very positive experience. I also bring my 3 year old here and the staff is always warm and welcoming with my child, ensuring he is comfortable. If you're looking for a great dentist I highly recommend this location. They also take Tricare which is a huge bonus

Needed a new Dentist that accepted my insurance and was convenient. Needed a crown etc.... the entire staff is friendly, the hygienist / Dental Assistant "Jasmine" was AWESOME during my last visit, the permanent crown was a perfect fit. Doc Gray is really nice, listens to his patients, and does GREAT work. (Even if he did go to Ohio State) Was worried it would take me a while to find a new dental provider..... this team is "on point"! Give 'em a try!

Dr. Gray, Hannah and Jasmine were very friendly and personable, and made me feel at ease right from the start. After getting a plan from another dentist I didn't completely agree with I went here for a second opinion. They gave me multiple options and let me decide what worked best for me, and my schedule, and budget. We have a plan in place to take care of multiple issues and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for making something I've always dreaded into a completely pleasant experience!!!
