Dr. Tim graduated dental school in 1997. He spent his first 7 years of practice working with a community dental center, providing essential care to the underserved populations of Kitsap and Grays Harbor counties. Here, he picked up many of the concepts he uses for trauma sensitive patients today. Governor Gregoire recognized him with the Governors Volunteer Service Award in 2009.

Outside of work, Dr. Tim has an intense love for sailing. He recently completed a race from Victoria, Canada to Maui, Hawaii, which took 10 days and 20 hours to complete. Though their boat broke down 2,300 miles in, leaving them stranded in the middle of the ocean (something he says is about one of the scariest things that can happen to a person!), he doesnt plan on giving up sailing anytime soon. He remains an active member of the Port Madison Yacht Club.

Dr. Berninghaus is a graduate of the Ohio State University, where she earned a B.S degree in Pharmacy and her D.D.S degree. A Youngstown, Ohio native, she served in the US Navy Dental Corps for 21 yrs. While in the Navy she completed a General Practice Residency at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, as well as a two-year Comprehensive Dentistry Residency program at the National Naval Dental Center in Bethesda, MD, receiving a concurrent Master's Degree in Dental Science at George Washington University.

She is a fellow in The Academy of General Dentistry, member of the American Dental Association, and Washington State Dental Association where she serves as a delegate for Kitsap County. She also served as a past president for the Kitsap County Dental Society.

The joys of her life are her two children: Ahsley and Matthew. Her hobbies include gardening, healthy living, and doing anything outdoors. With her extensive education and her genuine love and enthusiasm for dentistry, she is proud and grateful to become a member of the Current Dental team.

Alexis has been in the dental field since 2003. She is very passionate about dentistry and overall health. She enjoys building professional relationships with patients and ensuring that they receive the best dental care available.

Outside of the office Alexis spends most of her time caring for her 2 daughters and volunteering with Bremerton Parks and Recreation. She also likes to cook and travel and enjoys expressing her artistic side as a member of the West Sound Arts Council.

AJ has been a part of the team since November 2021. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science specializing in Organizational Leadership Technical Management. AJ has a treasure trove of knowledge about the Dental field and managing an office. She has been working in the Dental field since 2003 where she started working as a Dental Assistant! She will be able to answer a wide variety of questions many patients have.

Erin has been a part of the Current Dental team since November of 2021. She moved to Washington shortly after graduating from the hygiene program at University of Louisville. She grew up far away and is happy she made her way to Washington where she met her husband.

Alma-May has been an integral part of the Current Dental team ever since graduating from Eastern Washington University in 2016. The most rewarding aspect of her job is to build personal relationships with her patients while providing optimal dental care.

Alma-May enjoys being outdoors when the weather is nice and spending time with family and friends. She likes staying active with skiing, camping, volleyball, and softball. But if a good Netflix show is on, you may catch her binge-watching it! She wont stay on the couch too long though, as her long term goal is to explore our forever changing world.

Holding both Registered Dental Hygienist and Medical Assistant certificates, we are happy to have Ginas diverse expertise at Current Dental. She was inspired to go into the dental field after years of overcoming hurdles when it came to her own oral health. Because of her background, Gina brings plenty of empathy and understanding to her role.

Gina is a lover of the great outdoors. During her time off, you can find her and her husband trekking through the Cascade and Olympic Mountains. She also loves riding her motorcycle, playing soccer, and spending time with her cat, dog, and her boys.

Kimmie grew up in Wisconsin, but has now lived in our beautiful state for 5 years. She started her career working in Endo for 2 years. She is proud to be part of our Current Dental team. She is focused on patient education and promoting prevention and good habits so our patients can have the healthiest smiles possible.

Kaysey has been a part of the Current Dental team since August 2016. Her job means everything to her; patient care and interacting with patients on a daily basis is the most rewarding part of her job. She graduated from Renton Technical College with her CDA in 2016. She knew from a very young age that this was the career for her! Current Dental is like 'home' to her, she could not have asked for a better team to work with.

When Kaysey is not at work you can catch her being a mom to her three beautiful children. Creating everyday as an adventure is what keeps her motivated. Her and her family and enjoy living on the edge, and exploring nature as well as riding dirtbikes! They also enjoy pretending to be farmers while raising their chickens!

Kailyn has been in the dental field since January of 2020. She became a part of the Current Dental team in April of 2021. She came from an Endodontist and Pediatric office; with this experience she has learned patience and empathy to patients in pain especially those in need of immediate service.

Betty, originally is from Mexico and moved to the states in 2008. She became a registered dental assistant in 2012. With the opportunity to have worked in both countries in Community Health and Private Practice.

English being her second language has challenged and motivated her to constantly learn and be better at what she does. She is caring with patients, reliable, and committed to her duties in proving dental care.
