Built to house the most innovative dental tools and technologies, our entire space was designed with the patient in mind. The patient experience begins with a warm greeting from our reception area team members, where patients are invited to relax and complete their necessary paperwork. Within our practice we boast several exam rooms, in addition to a secluded area to consult about treatment and pricing. Our dental treatment area is equipped with the very latest dental technology to make certain that every patient experience is as relaxing and productive as possible.

In February 2010, Dr. Curley relocated from Pittsburgh, PA, to Wilmington, NC. Dr. Curley offers a broad range of services from routine cleanings and exams, to complex full-mouth reconstruction and most things in between. In particular, his 27 years of implant placement and restoration experience provides a level of confidence when considering dental implants. His progressive approach to learning the latest techniques has led him to routinely incorporate using three dimensional x-ray technology, virtual implant planning software, 3-D printing, and dynamic navigation that allows real time feedback for precise placement during implant surgery. This increases the predictability and accuracy of placing implants as compared to not using a guide. For the patient, it often means shorter surgery times and quicker healing.

Many times a patient will present with their front tooth broken off at the gum line. With the latest technology and techniques, in most circumstances, we can remove the remaining root, place a dental implant, and put a temporary crown on the implant in the same day. Thats pretty cool, said Dr. Curley.

Traveling nationally and internationally to learn from industry masters, performing 40 to 50 hours of training per year (well above the required 15 hours), Dr. Curley is always looking for the best ways to care for his patients. I cant in good conscience know that there is better way to do something and not choose the better way, he says. This ethical compass drives him to consistently incorporate best practices, he notes, in order to provide the most progressive, advanced care in dentistry that is available in a comfortable, relaxed setting.

In 2018, Dr. Curley decided to end his affiliation with DentalWorks and create his own brand, Curley Implant & General Dentistry, providing all of the support services locally and under his control. Dr. Curley moved his practice to a brand new state-of-the-art facility above Cape Fear Seafood Company and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. In his new office location he continues to focus on the area of dentistry he is most passionate about, dental implants and implant prosthesis.

Curley Implant & General Dentistry accepts most dental insurance plans. Youll find the office next to the Waterford Plaza, and hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8pm to 5pm, Thursday 9am to 6pm and Friday 8am to 1pm.

Have been going to Dr Curleys office for a few years, but I had to finally go somewhere else, every time my wife and I left after our appt we felt like dirt, we were alway told how we needed to spend thousand of dollars on dental works, we get cleans twice a year don't smoke, but every time it was thousand of dollars, Sorry we have 4 kids and the health of my kids come first then my wife, so they were not much interested in just doing what I need done, So yes I see it as more of a money grab, we have two insurance but they still needed more.. do yourself a favor and go someone else, unless you feel like being looked at as dirt, I'm in the medical field and I would never treat a patient as what they do, They have a full time Money Graber just to see how much she can milk from you...SAD

I saw Dr. Curley for the first time today as a third opinion to a complicated situation. My Dentist didn't want to handle it and I have been going to him 10 years. Not only did Dr. Curley address my concerns he charted a clear path and plan for my dental heath. He saw me twice today, first 10 or more x-rays were taken of my teeth and then he had me come back in the afternoon for a CBCT Scan and a review of my options and cost. He went above and beyond what other dentists have done for me. Dr. Curley is knowledgeable, caring, kind, and generous.

Dr. Curley's office refused to give me pricing based on the procedure codes. Are consistent among all dentist so I don't see any reason why I could not see The pricing.

My wife and I just became patients after recently moving to Leland. We were with our previous office for 20 years and were not looking forward to the process of finding a new dentist. After much research we decided on Dr. Curly and his team and we couldn't be happier. The office is clean and modern and the staff, from the front desk, assistants, hygienist and dentist were nice, accommodating and genuine. I prefer to use the same hygienist every visit and thought it would take a few tries to find one, but I found one on the first visit. I have a feeling that would have been the case regardless at this office. Dr. Curly took his time to discuss current and future state of my dental care. I cannot recall all the names, so I won't leave anyone out. Everyone was great!

My first visit. Was very positively impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of ALL staff--from the moment I phoned in to schedule an appointment until the conclusion of my exam. Dr. Curley took his time with me and seemed thorough, knowledgeable, and receptive to questions. The assistant and the hygienist were both very friendly and put me ( a nervous patient) at ease. They were gentle and thorough. I am pleased with my decision to come to this practice.

Had my first visit and am new to the area. I had a broken crown and needed to have it taken care of. As a new patient I had a new work up with full mouth x-rays and through check up. I found staff to be very professional and friendly. I am scheduling all the work that they suggested. I came home and told my wife who also needs a dentist here that I liked this group and recommended that she call them.

My husband and I have been patients of Curley Implant & General Dentistry for the past 2.5 years. My very first impression was the super clean office! The administration staff is pleasant, friendly and very efficient. The dentist we see is Dr. Jones who is extremely knowledgeable, gentle, and delightfully sincere and friendly. She is also very conscientious and meticulous. If there is work that has to be done beyond the protocol of Dr. Curley's office, she will have her efficient admin staff make the appointment with another outstanding professional. In fact, the dental work Dr. Jones did prior to my seeing the referred endodontist was highly praised by him. The hygienists and dental assistants at Curley Implant & General Dentistry are also very pleasant, efficient and friendly. We especially like Carli! I would highly recommend anyone to this dental practice.

Scare tactics, unnecessary treatments, limited customer relation skills. And the doctor is practically invisible but makes a grand appearance when the implant cash register goes off.

Dr Curley is very skillful and professional in what he does. I have been to a lot of dentist in my life and I KNOW what a good dentist is. Also his staff are so good at their job. I don't normally write reviews but so many people in Leland /Brunswick Forest seem to have struggles with finding dentists they like.
