Dr. Jason Cunningham joined his father, Dr. Edgar Cunningham, permanently in 2010, after practicing with him previously from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Edgar Cunningham has practiced in Erwin since 1975. Dr. Jason provides excellence in dentistry to residents of Erwin, Johnson City, and surrounding areas.
He is an outstanding dentist and is known for his gentle touch as well as his sense of humor. He is excellent with children. He is married to Dr. Angela R. Cameron and has two beautiful children, Andrew and Alexis.

Dr. Jason Cunningham graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Memphis and is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Megan is a resident of Unicoi County where she lives with her husband and two small children. She graduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2016 where she received her Dental Assisting License. She enjoys working with people of all ages and is always willing to lend a helping hand anywhere that it is needed. Her hobbies include, learning new things, crafts, photography, and spending time with family.
Pam lives in Johnson City, Tennessee. She graduated from ETSU R.D.A. program. She has worked in Dentistry for 27 years and is a member of the ADA. She is active in her church. She enjoys activities and traveling with friends and family.
Ashleigh graduated from ETSU with a degree in dental hygiene. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. She is an avid animal lover, and volunteers for the animal shelter. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Caleb. She and her husband enjoy biking, traveling, and are UT football fans!
Amy is a longtime resident of Unicoi County and resides in Erwin with her son Max. Amy began her dental assisting career in 1996. She began working alongside Dr. Jason Cunningham in 2003. Amy is a people person and cares for her patients like family.
Misty graduated from Unicoi County High School and from East Tennessee State University with an RDH (Registered Dental Hygiene) degree. She has been practicing dental hygiene for 18 years. She lives in Erwin with her husband and three boys.

So glad I got up the nerve to come to Cunningham Dental. All are wonderful. I was scared to go to the dentist bad experience when I was younger. I would suggest Cunningham Dental if you need dental work.

Had dental cleaning and polishing today! Staff was considerate and professional! Really appreciate them taking time for me. Had obtained my mouth guard today Jan 18th and had two cavities filled! No pain and very helpful staff! 1-27-22 I had a broken tooth and went to get it assessed. Dentist filed off sharp edges. I have to wait on insurance to see if it will cover fixing it. It may take two weeks! I hope I don't have any pain! 3-29-22 wonderful visit with crown placed. Staff wonderful! 5-4-22 had teeth cleaned today with polishing. Wonderful staff assist. New partial received but having some pain and tenderness at present with it. I hope I can wear it. It hurts to try to chew on it at present. Had wonderful visit today with Misty cleaning my teeth and Dr Cunningham adjusting my lower partial. Very appreciative of the care today 9-8-22

Great staff, very friendly and caring. I have been terrified of dentists for years due a previous bad experience but Dr. Cunningham was patient and explained everything and calmed my fear completely. The procedure I had was painless and I immediately told him I would be back and thanked him for his kindness and expertise

I love this dentist! First Ashley is such a friendly face and kind and her personality makes walking through the door so much easier! Misty was amazing today! She cared so much about ME and my personal well being (my high blood pressure) and she made me tear up on the way home by how much she cared and how much she seems to be in my corner, which I havent had a lot of in terms of medical and I appreciate it so much!

If you are looking for an "EXCELLENT" dentist, look no further! Dr Cunningham is the best! He is very kind, he explains everything, has a gentle touch too! I have tried several dentists offices and was really upset until I found Dr Cunningham! His staff is wonderful, the office is exceptionally clean, and I highly recommend this practice!
