A second-generation dentist, Dr. Cummins grew up on the Caribbean island of Barbados prior to attending the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He then attended dental school at the University of Maryland where he was the President of his class. Dr. Cummins pursued an advanced General Practice Residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. After residency Dr. Cummins practiced in New York before moving to Philadelphia, where he met his fiance Julie. He returned with her to Maryland with their dog Kiwi, and could not be more excited to join the community.
Dr. Adrian Cummins is committed to his post-graduate education and being current in the latest technologies and advances in patient care. He is a regular attendee of local study clubs, dental conventions, and hands-on courses around the country. He has been awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry an honor achieved by only 13% of the practicing general dentists in the country. His treatment philosophy is centered on patient education, personalized and comprehensive treatment planning, and empowering his patients to achieve the smile they desire. With attention to detail and excellent clinical skills, Dr. Cummins prides himself on providing exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Cummins captains the Barbados National Water Polo team, and coached the University of Pennsylvania Womens Water Polo Team during his tenure in Philadelphia. An All-American in college, he is as at home in the pool as he is in the dental office and may be found training or competing locally. Dr. Adrian Cummins also enjoys triathlons, cooking, watching all sports and traveling.

I am glad and grateful that I have found Dr. Cummins. I have a long history of bad dental health that led me to have many crowns. They were not placed probably by my previous dentist in my country which caused a gum inflammation for years. I was in constant pain because of those crowns that I have decided to look for a new dentist. Luckily I have found Dr. Cummins who was recommended by a Mom's facebook group in my area. He listened to me with empathy and care. He advised to replace the crowns and the process was easy and quick which lasted for few days. After replacing them, my inflammation went away. Can't tell you how relieved I am, and the crowns looked atheistically great.

Great service,and very professional doctor, and he knows what he's doing. I feel comfortable to take my kids there to get their teeth checked and get cleaned. So people don't west time to look for good dentist call doctor Cummings and make an appointment

I simply can't say how impressed and thankful I am to Dr. Cummins for going the extra mile to make sure that I felt at ease and comfortable during my first visit with him recently. This was my first visit to this office, and seeing that it was not per a referral but per an ad I received in the mail, I was very interested in the service that this practice would provide. On arrival, the doctor welcomed me by name which was a good sign that he remembered talking with me when I made my initial appointment. The office was exceptionally clean with modern equipment. Both the doctor and his assistant were very courteous, and gave me a comfortable feeling that the patient was of utmost importance.. Upon completion of x-rays and examination of my teeth, the doctor explained what was done and then proceeded to clean my teeth. After a thorough cleaning, we discussed a concern I spoke with him about. He then advised a prescription would help with my concern which he did send to my local pharmacy. So far the medication has helped and I will continue to use it for a few more days as prescribed. I was very pleased with my first visit, and would return for future visits. Thanks you so much Dr. Cummins.
