Dr. Cummings graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1998. She received her postdoctoral training from University Hospital Stony Brook. For 20 years, Dr. Cummings was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook Dental Care centerwhere she held a Part-time Faculty Position. She instructed new Dentists with the management of special needs patients and conducted a monthly review of the literature.She also delivered comprehensive Dental Care to special needs patients under general anesthesia. In 2006, Dr. Cummings started her Dental practice in Huntington, NY where she provides Dental Care for the entire family. Geriatric patients, children age 1 and older, special needs patients and well patients are all welcomed. She offers comprehensive Dental Care including root canal therapy, extractions, Implant placement, routine care as well as braces. In 2019, Dr. Cummings retired from her position at Stony Brook Dental Care Center and has devoted her professional time to her Dental Practice in Huntington, NY.

Everyone who works in this office is so pleasant and friendly. They take their time to explain their observations, the procedures, and instruments they are using. I've went to a few other dentists throughout they years and ended up coming back because their service is so great.

Our experience with Dr. Cummings was fantastic. She put my daughter at ease and made the appointment pleasurable. Dr. Cummings went over what was going to happen and listened to what I had to say about my daughter. Having a special needs child makes appointments stressful, there was no stress at this one. My daughter listened and complied with all requests. I am glad to have finally found a dentist she is comfortable with.

Dr. Cummings and her staff are amazing! I was able to get an appointment right away and they were able to accommodate my schedule. Dr. Cummings and her staff made me feel comfortable right from the start. The doctor explained the services I would be receiving the day of the appointment as well as my future treatment. I was given a follow up appointment and I look forward to continuing my treatment with their office.
