Hemant Dhawan, DMD graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with degrees in Neuroscience and Zoology. He attended a prestigious Ivy League institution for dental school, graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. After dental school, Dr. Dhawan was admitted for further specialty training at Maimonides Medical Center, an affiliate of the Weil Cornell Medical System.
Dr. Dhawan is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). In over a decade of practice, he has mentored several students and generously devoted his free time to young dentists and surgeons at several residency programs. He was recently awarded America's Top 40 Dentist Under 40 and was featured in the Delta Sky Magazine in December 2019.
Dr. Dhawan and his family are thrilled to call Georgia their new home and are excited to build new memories with our community. During his free time, he can be found with his young family enjoying the parks, movies, and child-friendly restaurants.
He received degrees from both Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Dr. Yavari completed his advanced general dentistry residency at Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics.
He then continued his education by specializing in orthodontics and receiving a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Yavari has been practicing orthodontics in the Atlanta area since 1999. He is actively involved in several professional orthodontic and dental associations such as the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Yavari regularly works as a mentor to young interns that are interested in entering the field of dentistry or orthodontics.
Lindsay Davis is the pediatric dental hygienist at Cumming Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics! She has lived in Cumming, Georgia for her entire life. She knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist from a very young age and loves being able to share that passion with her patients every day. She has been married to her husband, Anthony, since 2008 and they have two boys Hunter and Wyatt. Her hobbies are singing and playing the piano. If she's not at the office, you can probably find her on a sports field with one of her boys in the area living the mom life!She loves being able to give each child at Cumming Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics the best dental experience possible!
