We use up-to-date infection control measures and universal precautions recommended by both the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to protect both your family and our team. Our employees undergo frequent training to ensure proper infection prevention, respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette, updated safe injection practices, and measures for effective instrument sterilization.

Standard Precautions are the minimum infection prevention practices that apply to all patient care, regardless of suspected or confirmed infection status of the patient. These practices are set forth by many different administrations including OSHA, CDC, The American Dental Association (ADA), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These practices include, but are not limited to:

  • Use of surface barriers to protect clinical contact surfaces, particularly those that are difficult to clean (e.g. switches on chairs, computer equipment) and barriers are changed or sanitized between each patient.

The Cumberland family goes further than pediatric dentists, orthodontists, assistants and hygienists. We have a great Leadership Team in place to ensure all our patients and employees have only the best experiences with our practices! Each person contributes to this team by building company culture, creating marketing campaigns, making every dental visit FUN! and everything in between- these are the people that are behind the scenes.

Dr.Melvin is amazing. She is thorough, patient, and kind. She is able to connect with the kiddos and adults alike. She approaches everything "medically" - explaining what's necessary or not in terms of both function and cosmetics. Absolutely recommend letting her fix your smile!!!

Since day 1 they've been so helpful getting the best price possible and they actually care about my son. They try to get us in whenever we have an issue and I'm glad that they are so close to our house and would highly recommend, even outside of White House. They're awesome!

Walked in to check in and didn't even get to sit when they were starting with my girl. Quick and friendly. Kendall was very patient and professional with my daughter and my own questions and concerns. Worked with us and didn't try to push anything unnecessary. Love taking my kids here and the golden coin at the end always makes their day.
