Dr. Lynsey Cumberland received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry Medical Sciences from Mississippi College. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Lynsey Cumberland received the Dental Physiology Award, Ottilie-Schilig Scholarship, Dr. Chris Sprayberry Scholarship for Pre-Clinical Excellence, Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, and a Hinman Scholar. Also, she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Dental Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. Dr. Lynsey Cumberland completed a one year elective dental residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. During her residency, she received special instruction and training in placing dental implants, comprehensive dental treatment of special needs patients in the operating room, and treating medically complex patients. Upon completion of her dental residency, Dr. Lynsey Cumberland joined our practice in July 2015. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Jackson Dental Society.Dr. Lynsey Cumberland and her husband, Chance Theriot, reside in Richland, MS. Dr. Lynsey Cumberland enjoys planting flowers, reading, baking desserts, and playing with her Micro-mini Goldendoodle, Cooper.
Victoria has recently joined our team as a dental hygienist and graduated from Meridian Community College Hygiene School in 2019. She enjoys educating her patients about oral hygiene and ways to improve their overall health and smile.
Allison has been employed with Dr. Cumberland since 1996, as a dental hygienist. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BS degree in dental hygiene.Allison is married to Chris Cooksey and they have two children, Sophia and Jack. She is a longtime resident of Brookhaven and a member of Nola Baptist Church. Allison enjoys spending time with her family, home schooling her children, and traveling.
Carla has been employed with Dr. Cumberland since 1988, as a dental assistant. She enjoys making patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their dental treatment.Carla is married to Brad Cliburn and they have one son, Cody. Cody currently lives in Seminary, MS with his wife, Sarah, and daughter, Ruthie Kate. She is a longtime resident of Florence and a member of First Baptist Church of Florence.Carla loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog-Ellie. Carla's favorite pastime is spoiling her new granddaughter, Ruthie Kate, every chance she gets!
Janet joined our team in February of 2021, as a dental assistant. She received her dental assistant training from Elite Dental Assisting School in Texas in 2019. She moved here from Dallas, Texas in 2020 after getting married to Colby Barrett. Janet and Colby have a beagle named Luke. Janet has 5 younger siblings, loves Disney, and enjoys trips back home to Texas to see family and friends.
