Travis Coleman, DDS, graduated from Louisiana State University, where he earned his degree in biological sciences. After graduation, he received an officers commission to the United States Air Force, where he attended pilot training. Dr. Coleman then spent seven years as both an instructor pilot and an AWACS pilot, flying nearly 1,500 hours. During that time, Dr. Coleman attained the rank of captain and earned a masters degree in education. Between his Air Force career and starting dental school, he taught high school chemistry in south Louisiana.

Dr. Coleman then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the LSU School of Dentistry. He is married to his high school sweetheart and is the proud father of four beautiful children. His hobbies include spending time with his family, coaching sports for his kids, fishing, and being a lifelong learner.

Dr. Carter is originally from the Tri-County area. He grew up in Keavy, went to South Laurel High School and attended church in Corbin. After high school Dr. Carter went to Western Kentucky University where he graduated in 2001 with a B.S. in Biology. Following graduation from WKU, Daniel moved to Lexington and went to dental school at the University of Kentucky, graduating in 2005. He practiced dentistry for a year in Nicholasville before accepting a position at WKU as a professor and the Dental Director for the Institute for Rural Health. As Dental Director he supervised dental hygiene students and provided dental care for medically under-served patients on a mobile unit in and around Warren County. In February 2021 Dr. Carter joined Cumberland Fall Family Dentistry. When hes not at work Dr. Carter loves spending time with his dogs, friends, and family.

Melissa has been with Cumberland Falls Family Dental for over 20 years. She is currently the office manager and is dedicated to maximizing dental insurance benefits for her patients. She has her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant, and Certified Dental Practice Management Assistant certifications. Her knowledge and experience as an assistant gives her an unparalleled ability to serve our patients as a Patient Care Coordinator. In her free time she enjoys outdoor sports and prides herself as being the worlds best dog owner to her Schnauzer, Buddy.

Amanda is our newest front office member. She has over 9 years of dental experience in both a general practitioners office and a specialist setting. This gives her a unique ability to coordinate complex treatment plans and discuss those with our patients. Her attention to detail has proven invaluable in ensuring the highest level of care to our patients. Amanda enjoys spending time with her 3 children and doing crafts from home.

Kara recently joined our team as a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Big Sandy Community and Technical college in 2010. She is licensed in local anesthesia and holds a general supervision certification. Prior to beginning her career as a Dental Hygienist, she was a Certified Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. Kara enjoys spending time with her 3 kids and is an active member in her church.

Kayla joined our team right after graduating from Big Sandy Community and Technical College in 2014. She is licensed in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and holds a general supervision certification. She is very detail oriented and cognizant of our patients needs and comfort. Her primary focus is patient education and ensuring that each patient feels like they are listened to. Outside the office she enjoys hunting, being outdoors with her family, and watching her son play sports.

Natalie is a Dental Assistant on our team and doubles as our Orthodontic Assistant. She has 2 years previous experience in orthodontics. She graduated from Lynn Camp High School in 2018. Natalie attended Somerset Community College where she received her Associate degree in Arts in Spring 2021. Natalie is currently studying to become a Certified Dental Assistant. Natalie loves to spend time with her family and shopping with her friends.

Madicyn joined our team in 2019 and has been a rock star assistant ever since. She was born in Corbin and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the Cumberlands. She is currently studying for her Certified Dental Assistant certifications and hopes to attend dental school next year. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves the outdoors.

Johnna joined out team in 2020 and is our newest member. Johnna graduated from Big Sandy Community College in 2011 earning her Dental Hygiene Degree. Before hygiene school she went to dental assisting school and worked as an expanded duties dental assistant. Johnna is a jack of all trades around the practice. When she is not helping patients she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 boys and loves being outdoors.
