Dr. Adam Davis attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, graduating in 2001. He spent five years serving as a general dentist in the US Navy. After fulfilling his active duty commitment, Dr. Davis entered the Endodontic Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He received his Endodontic Specialty Certificate in June of 2008. In July 2008, Dr. Davis opened Cumberland Endodontics with the goal of providing residents in the greater Nashville area with the finest endodontic care available.
Having graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Uhles spent a year working before entering dental school at the University Of Tennessee College of Dentistry. After graduating in 2011 with honors and receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he completed a one-year fellowship as an instructor in the Department of Endodontics at UT. Upon completing his endodontic residency, he received his Master of Dental Science degree and his Endodontic Specialty Certificate.
Contributing to the educational experiences of other students is important to Dr. Uhles, and he is a part time instructor in the Department of Endodontics at UTHSC in Memphis. Once a month he teaches in the predoctoral and graduate endodontic clinics to provide that educational experience.
Dr. Eshwar Arasu joined the practice in 2017 after completing his endodontic residency training and receiving a Masters of Science in Dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. He graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD.
As of 2019, Dr. Arasu successfully completed the written, oral, and case examinations for board certification in endodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Excellent all around! Would recommend 100%. Cumberland Endo gave me an initial consult with Dr. Uhles within a two days of my first call. Dr. Uhles was personable, thorough, and made me feel at ease. My procedure was scheduled for a few days after that with Dr. Arasu. My tooth was way too sensitive to begin the root canal, even with heavy numbing medication. Dr. Arasu prescribed a steroid, and we rescheduled the procedure with Dr. Uhles a few days later. The steroid worked wonders. Dr. Uhles was able to complete the procedure in a little over an hour. He did an *excellent* job. I was comfortable for the entire procedure (thanks in part to the Halcion sedative Dr. Uhles prescribed). The staff at Cumberland is first rate. They are professional, kind, and thorough at every point. They called to check on me after all of my appointments. They helped address some medical questions I had between appointments (when my tooth was raging mad). They even laughed at my dad jokes and cracked a few themselves! Good people. With best-in-class service and a beautiful, modern office, you might expect Cumberland Endo to be prohibitively expensive. To the contrary, my total fee was on par or slightly lower than the competitors I consulted. And it was *exactly* what they initially quoted me. So no price gouging, unnecessary upsells, surprise fees, etc. Even better, Cumberland Endo allowed me to pay 1/2 of the fee on the day of my procedure and 1/2 within 30 days. Wow. It has been three days since my procedure. I have complete relief in my tooth, and minimal residual soreness in my gums. I can eat and chew just about anything, and I didn't go broke to pay them. I could not be happier!

Great experience from the time I called to make appointment until I walked out of the office. Staff at front desk was amazing, incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help. I was in horrible pain and they did everything possible to get me scheduled at oral surgeon the following day! Dr. Dapoz was extremely honest and has great bedside manners! I would definitely recommend them to everyone!!

I have had several root canal's and as far as root canal's go, that was the best experience I have ever had. Staff was polite, courteous and experienced. Molar with 4 canals and no pain after. Thanks y'all

If you need a root canal, this is the place you need to be! Had some severe pain in a tooth and the gum and was told I needed a root canal. My dentist referred me to Cumberland Endodontics and thankfully they were able to get me in the same day. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dr. Arasu did a wonderful job of explaining the process to me in a way I understood. The procedure itself was pain free. Just a pinch when the tooth was numbed. The best part was that my pain was gone and I was back to 100% in a little over 24 hours. Thank you so much!

Thank you to Dr. Arasu and his kind assistant at Cumberland Endodontics. I was extremely anxious about the upcoming procedure due to some very unplesant experiences I have had at other places. They both made me relaxed by sharing with me what they would be doing and why. Plus, Dr. Arasu's skill level and understanding of some my sensitivity to medications and different materials further helped lessen my anxiety. He truly listens. I will most definitely recommend Cumberland Endodontics and be a repeat costumer. It is a first class business from the front desk personal and beyond.

The first week of June 2022 I had to get a root canal on the same tooth that also has a crown, and my mind was racing. I was terrified. I had put it off for various reasons, but it was time to face the music. Dr. Stephen Dapoz, DDS tried to help put my fears at bay and said I could wait until I was ready. His tech and himself said there wouldn't be any pain and WOW, there wasn't any pain. He checked on me the entire time during the surgery to ask about pain. None. He did not crack the crown either. No pain from the needles, no pain during the surgery, and no pain after the surgery. I was awake, alert, and there was no pain. I gave myself four days to be sure, and I was successfully eating with the tooth that had a root canal. NO PAIN! I cannot thank Dr. Dapoz and his tech that day enough for his and her expertise.

Nice new building. I guess they need to pay for.... These people did nothing for me. Then charged me $200. for 30 minutes that I was there. I wish that I could make $400.an hour. Apparently they can't do it the honest way. Told me I had a cracked tooth., which I already knew then took my money. This kind of rip off is common. I hope this helps someone. Beware

Dr. Dapoz and his assistant Wonder were wonderful! They went above and beyond to help explain what needed to be done. They ran on time and the office staff was amazing. Melissa was great to work with insurance. I would highly recommend Cumberland Endodontics.

I simply can't say enough good about Cumberland Endodontics. I am terrified of all things dental. Dr. Dapoz and his assistant, Wanda, have set the bar on the moon for dental work. I had a root canal performed today. With it, I experienced zero pain. The staff kindly supplied me with a fuzzy blanket and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The younger girl at the front desk was also very friendly. Exceptional staff and all around best possible experience!

The most pleasent dental procedure i have ever experienced. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was in and out within an hour and a half for a root canal. The least painful dental experience as well! Top notch service from the doctor and nurses!
